so i am having this same issues and i have done the same things as xlZPKillerlx to fix it and just tried that command line and it did nothing for me

With that command line argument, the game insists on re-downloading 7.8GB - SEVEN POINT EIGHT GIGABYTES, presumably the entire game over again. That's going to take much of the night, and I'll be asleep before it finishes. Would have been nice to warn us first, unless it forcing a redl is a bug itself.

I noticed it doesn't do that until the argument is specified... starting up the game without it did not patch. What gives?

Obviously, it's going to be a while before I have anything further to report, unless you can inform me it is indeed not supposed to be forcing a re-dl. Not happy as-is. On conventional broadband over here where the internet service providers rip us off, 7.8GB of bandwidth is non-trivial. I don't know if NZ internet companies are more reasonable, I'd assume so if this was intentional.

I'm sorry for my english, I'm french... ;-)

Since the last update of PoE in version 2.4.3 I have problem when I close it.
I clik on the button "Exit" and after I have a black screen and I'm obliged to restart my computer.

Ctrl+Alt+Del or Alt+Tab haven't effect.

If I just open PoE and I click to "Exit" it's the same problem.

My configuration is :

Processor : INTEL Skylake - Core i7-6700K 4GHz
Motherboard : ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
Graphic card : ASUS NVIDIA STRIX Geforce GTX 970
Fan : NOCTUA NH-U12P SE2

My Windows Update is OK
My NVidia Driver is OK (version 18/11/2016 is installed)
My Nvidia Experience is optimized for PoE

I think that I used PoE 64 bits launcher.

I use Steam to install and connect to PoE.

Do not have this problem with other games.

I have install PoE from the site www.pathofexile.com and when I use his launcher. I have the same problem.

I have deleted and new installed PoE from Steam. I have the same problem.

After, I have change an option in :
- Options => Graphics => Display Mode = Fullsceen : I have this black screen when I use exit
- Options => Graphics => Display Mode = Windowed Fullsceen : I haven't this problem.

When I'm playing, I can use Mumble for speak with my friend.
And when I have a black screen, I can continue to speak with my friends.
And I use "push to talk for speak".

So my keyboard is OK, and my system id OK.

I can think that the problem come from the dispaly or clear memory ?

My game is just like that it looks like the graphics don't load
The "black screen" seems to be the last thing that appears in the game window and gets frozen in that image. When you switch to load screens the wallpaper also stays.

so this happened to me, after 2.4.2 patch

i reinstall my comp

redownload client and data

uptodate nvidia driver

game was fine before major patch




i5 4570
GTX 760
4GB ram

So i've tried a few more things and they did not work, here is what i tried

-Changing Networking Mode
-Windowed to fullscreen / windowed to windowed full screen
-Reinstalling my OS
-Deleting this folder - Shadercache
- I tried all combos of graphic settings in the options menu and none of this helped
