Adding three versions of Lightning Tendrils with different damage types doesn't really seem like the best choice.
spark with chaos...

(I thought that was a joke)

Damnit, I understood something with both scorching ray and blight that really disappoints me a lot

I wanted them to be like righteous fire, meaning a skill that simply deals damage over time, that ignores cast speed altogether

when you cast, you apply a degen that lasts 2 seconds lets say, and based on your cast speed, you re-apply another degen, making them stack, both skills require cast speed to re-apply those short duration degens, instead of simply being "degen damage"

what little hype I had for those skills is now crushed

Really awesome skill.
Am I missing something? How are we supposed to survive maps with a skill that forces us to stand still in close(ish) range with zero leech?

Necromancer with bone offering is one way. Totems are another.

I don't know why a lot of people say that blade flurry is like blade vortex or lightning tendrils, it really doesn't behave like them at all, you're the first one I hear from saying scorching ray is like lightning tendrils.

scorching ray is most similar to incinerate, except you can't increase it's spread with multiple projectiles, the reduced enemy fire resistance is just another form of more damage

blade flurry is the most unique skill of the 3,
It's most similar to sunder, except instead of being aimed manually, it's automatic kinda like arc, it's also a little bit like spectral throw when you stop casting and the "shadows" come back

blight is kinda like lightning tendrils, except it doesn't repeat smaller casts, very loosely similar to blade vortex simply because it has a max stack limit, the defensive part of blight is unique though

still don't understand why they made scorching ray fire and why blade flurry is a attack
