Test with 56% crit chance 504 multiplier

Less duration gem+ increased crit chance + lv1 ice trap

I only throw trap ice and shock period, and check occurring ignite.

Ignite from crit still last 4 second.

I think the wording of wiki caused confusion: increased "IGNITE" duration modifier is kinda separate category from increased duration. Ignite specific duration modifiers are only existed in certain passive nodes(breath of flame and elemental focus nodes) and items (cloak of flame and Abberath's Horn and Dyadian Dawn, etc)

Further experiment should be equipping Abberath's Horn, reducing ignite duration, cause whether dealing same damage or dealing reduced damage.

@valencer. thanks for your efforts, i think this is an important fact which should be put into the wiki. talking much is easy but experiments in the ends are proof. keep up the good work ^^

just btw: skill effect duration affects poison duration right? with poison it's surely different (i hope)
Hey, very nice build. It will be my frist trapper in that game. Anyway im still a noob player so can i ask you to do lvling skill tree? It will be very helpful for me becouse i have some problems with it , especially with this i dont know where i should go before i conv gear for ES. Thx for build.

2) added a very small leveling "guide" by showing few early state passive trees
Why not Increased Critical Damage instead of Less duration? Easier to color chest, and I feel like it just fits better.
Looks awesome, can you elaborate on how this build would perform if I wanted to farm uber atziri in 2.5? And on what budget?

@Osirius, according to my calculations less duration is still like 5% more damage in total. MORE modifiers are very powerful

i tried out uber atziri several times and always failed. why? we have problems with ignite immune enemies. as far as i experienced the enraged vaal is immune to ignite, so you really have to take them both down equally or you're doomed. also the last trio member is also immune to ignite, it's hard to take down the last while AoE DoT spreads. then @ atziri the splitphase is np because you can ignite but then again uber atziri herself hits hard and the fight simply takes too long, you probably will do mistakes there and die again.

90% facebreakers are now legacy so having ele weakness on hit on them will be very expensive and can only be realized out of the league. you could probably run ele weakness aura and have 2 doryanis but then again you lack valyrium (because you need the shield for resistances). solution: you could use kiara's determinition to mitigate stun spikes; lacking then a nice utility flask.

all in all i think this build is sub-optimal for uber atziri, it can be done because imo the hard phase is atziri's split phase and this is done quite good. and yet you need to be a very good player, dodge things and have perfect timing. this isn't the case for me so i failed ^^ i guess for uber atziri are better builds out there.

question about the ice trap damage enchant, is it merc lab or uber lab?
Do you think this build will get to merci dried lake faster than a flame blast build in a new league?

I'm not sure what I want to roll for a league starter, I was also considering FNM saboteur, that gave my good results last league.
