Big update
Bought the MTX, 6L my shav, courrpted to lvl 21 my Vortex and bought "Dying Sun" and finally beat uber lab. Dropped atm the thought of using grace since its dex req is super high (I even have a lvl 21 one in my stash). Mapping with Elemental Weakness and Assassin's Mark for clear speed. (instead of Temporal Chains) Gear

Well i still have no shav and it's getting hard when i face chaos damage dealers, i have to react extremely fast due to my low hp pool...but overall the clear speed is insane, even if i die sometimes i can get back the Exp quick :)
Btw i'm trying the heretic's veil and i'll see how it works with enlightment later. |

Can someone view my character ZOZ and see why I am only doing 15000 Vortex damage per use not 26000 like OP. I don't have everthing on the build yet but 80% complete. OP list Vortex damage at 26k with only auras (no flasks or charges). Mine, only auras and tooltip says 15k after pendulum swing. My ES is at 10.2k, critical strike multiplier 300%, and crit chance at 33% in HO with only auras. What am I missing?
I know I am still missing a couple good jewels for the tree. I don't have the flasks setup yet or proper enchantment on helmet but -11k damage?I just want to get the Vortex damage up. " 1.No spell damage on weapon and shield (my case 43+79=122% inc.spell dmg) 2.Why astramentis?! 3.Low crit chance, I have 57% in my hideout without charges, that's almost double, which means great difference in tooltip, you do need to crit once to proc Vortex so not that big of a deal vs. a single target, problem is when clearing you'll have to proc it over and over on the same pack until you get a crit. P.S you dont need fire dmg or area dmg specifically, get spell dmg, it double dips too. increased spell dmg while holding a shield is very efficient for jewels. Just started this i bought a lot of decent items and what op said was needed but i am struggling a bit here in town i have 7k tooltip he has 26k i am way off that and my es seems to take ages to regenerate back up any one give me some advice

so far love the build, trying minotaur on shavs 5link, just got my gems to lvl 20, no quality only on CoC really so let's pray for the best

" Thanks for the response. I am only using Astramentis amulet cause new character and wanted to add current equipment without worrying about stat requirements. Gonna switch to appropiate amulet soon. I rushed the build in a few hours and should of waited a bit before asking the above question about dps. Totally missed the lack of spell damage on equipment, duh! " Does it matter? Lvls will only make your cyclone's attack dmg stronger. Attack skills' just like spells' mana cost used to scale with the gem lvl, so I guess nowdays even though it's not cheaper at lvl 1 mana cost wise some people just have the habit of keeping it that way. |

played it more this morning damage seems great but the es leech is an issue i some time have to run away not to die hoping the boot enchant can help me solve the issue it overall is a fun build even tho i do sometimes just stop cyclone for no reason lol :)
