Making use of Inquisitor's Inevitable Judgement (Critical Strikes ignore Elemental resists) and fast attack speed to put out lots of elemental damage. Herald of Ice + Herald of Thunder both add flat damage and help apply the Poacher's Mark and Assassin's Mark curses for Frenzy and Power charge generation.

Dual Wield a rapier + Doryani's Catalyst

Get's the Duelist leech nodes + Doryani's Catalyst for 2.2% life leech + 0.4% mana leech.

Bandits: Normal: Kill All, Cruel: Help Kraityn, Merciless: Help Kraityn

As we're CI, we don't want to help Oak in Normal. In Cruel Attack Speed from Kraityn is definitely worth 1 point. Merciless Frenzy Charge again is the best 1 point option. With Diamond Flask we're at 90% crit chance anyway.

High ES gear, need to get Accuracy as much as possible; try to hit 88% chance to hit at end game. 40% Lacerate Damage is your dream Enchant, Leech or Attack speed on boots, anything you fancy on Gloves. Obviously could use Facebreakers but you're losing a good chunk of ES and attack speed. Rainbowstrides are a great cheap option; you'll be hard pressed to find better boots for how much they cost. Skyforth obviously BIS here, then you would drop Eye of Chayula for a Weapon Ele/Crit Multi/%ES amulet.

Jewels - Energy from Within, Mantra of Flame, 2x rare jewel


Energy From Within in the normal spot next to Melding for lots of Energy Shield.

The build can have up to 6 buffs active making Mantra of Flames a good choice, especially with our high attack speed. Herald of Ice, Discipline, Herald of Thunder, Fortify, Ice Golem and Onslaught are what count as buffs for this jewel.

Other jewels go for ES + Area Dmg + Crit Multi + Attack speed. Resists are good too for Ele weak maps.

Leveling Gear:


Cloak of Flame from lvl 18 > you put on your Vaal Regalia after you respec to CI.

Interesting take on this build!

I'm currently playing life based eva, and frustrated by the occasional random 1 shot. At 5300 life.


Question:
You've got Poachers on HoI and Assassins on HoL. I'm assuming they over-write each other and you end up getting a balance of power and frenzy charges from them?

Looks like Hypothermia as your 6th link? I'm using Added Lightning - what do you think about the difference? The dps is quite high in the build and it one-shots all packs, 2-3 shots all races. So for bosses what do you think is an ideal 6th link?

Have you considered fitting in Discipline? Or is Vaal Discipline good enough for bosses?

Yes the curses sort of overwrite each other and you end up at max both charges while mapping.

Hypothermia, Lightning Pen, Crit Dmg or Added light would be my last link. The majority of my damage is lightning.

I do use Discipline and Vaal Discipline. My ES is at 8.7k and with VD it reaches about 12.5k.

were you able to do end game bosses with this build?

whats your tooltip buffed and unbuffed?

Could you link your offensive/defensive tab please ?

2.5.1c viable build? ''up to date skill tree'' and stuff?

I'm level 88 currently,
Did all as suggested and I'm having fun playing and destroying everything.

Died a couple of times because I'm getting used to CI build, it's my first one.

Still need to up the %shield that is currently 7.7k

Still needs to do the last ascendancy and try maps past 11.

But so far it's looking good.
