[Tool] PoE-TradeMacro

Why does it take so long to initialise the script now? Anyone find a fix for this?

Latest AHK and 2.5.5...
any ideas?

Same here. Still having this issue.
Version 2.5.5 force PoE client from Windowed Fullscreen to Windowed mode, have to manually change the setting again to get the client back to Windowed Fullscreen.

While starting the script, cannot do anything but update, which fails to

" Parsing the currency data (json) from poe.ninja failed.
This should only happen when the servers are down / unavailable.

Using archived data from a fallback file.league: "league".

This can fix itself when the servers are up again and the data gets
updated automatically or if you restart the script at such a time. "

Been like this for 3 days, have not tried to manually install 2.5.6 version yet,
just wanted report the errors i have received.

Attached the error in question:

I'm getting the same parsing data (json) error as well. I attempted to updated from 2.5.5 into the same directory that I have always used and the updated wiped out the folder. the curl.exe file is access denied. Instead, manually downloaded 2.5.6 and extracted into a new folder. Same json parsing error. It cannot contact poe.ninja to get currency data.
Is there someway to bypass the internet explorer message I get every time I load up the macro? I do not have IE installed on my PC because I was Chrome so every time I load up the macro I get the "Would you like to install IE and set as the default browser?" Ultimately it isn't a big deal as I just have to exit the installer, but it is still kind of annoying. Same with the do not open the macro from desktop thing. Can you add a "Do Not Show This Again" check box for that?
Did 3.0.2 break this? I had been using it fine before but it doesn't seem to work for me any more :(
Won't load for me. Just sticks on "Initalizing script..."

Can't you just install IE? The windows API has a lot of functions relying on Internet Explorer and some things that have to be done by script have to be done using IE, since Chrome/Firefox can't be accessed the same ways.
I can probably implement something to supress certain errors but it only complicates things, while having IE installed shouldn't be an issue in any way, just don't use it.

Dose this still hold true? If yes, is it also the case with the ne beta version? If yes try to describe what exactly doesn't work.

Same answer as to zeke_.

the new beta seems to have broken things for me. now my game typing/chat seems extremely unresponsive, and laggy, same with item selection/stacking.... tried shutting down the script and it went back to crispy clean responses....so it is definitely the new version...

oh, and btw....probably not the case of the other user, but linux users cannot so cassualy "just install IE"....if having linux support anywhere down the road is desired, that will put a big bump on said road.

Regarding linux, that's true, but something like full linux support is far away, it may never be implemented. If it gets implemented there need to be alternatives to IE, for example (rather easily) getting and reading valid cloudflare cookies, although not many people need them.

Anyway, have you tested the beta.2 already? It's confirmed that the fps drop/lag issue can be fixed at least for some people by not initialising the gdi tooltip. I've added a workaround/fix for that.
