The poll is not manipulated, unless people want to waste time changing ip adresses. I could care less if it was.

The amount of votes against lab are still a miniscule unnoticeable amount of players compared to the entire player base.

If 100k people dislike something in WoW do you think it will change. No, because they have more than 10x that many players playing it.

Unless there were 10k different posts by different players against current form of lab in no way can players justify that there is even a decent amouny of players against it.

There are more than 70k active players in this niche game.. you would need more than 35k different players expressing their dislike of lab to be considered a majority. Even 10k is less than 15% of the active player base.

As such this thread may be large, and that poll may show dislike of lab, but it is still realistically only representative of less than 3% of the active playerbase.

The same people posting dislike here are likely to be posting on reddit, and no one can say people are not.

You cant count each community as its own and combine them to show a larger dislike of lab than it actually is.

If anything, this is for sure. Lab is never changing. Its been said many times because it is true. The same people are bumping these lab topics. Thats a small list. Thats a fact.

Go do the research yourself before you say otherwise.

Even if it has not been manipulated, it is simply not representative.

Thats not my point. My point is even with an unrealistic representation of lab dislike, it is still far too small a representation to mean anything at all when I already know there is at keast 50 times more active players than total votes in poll.

No, it was manipulated. If you think that the people who are fervently campaigning against the laby haven't manipulated those polls for their own agenda, you're fooling yourself.

A while back I setup an old pc for the sole purpose of monitoring that poll, and I can guarantee you it has been manipulated.

Touche, I forgot about the goddess thread, although those two threads aren't even in the same category as the lab thread and have been around since 2013. The goddess thread isn't even active anymore.

And yeah, I'm sure we'll take your "guarantee" that it was "manipulated". Just like we'll take Chris' word that everybody loves lab right? And Qarl's word that reave is a dual wield skill? There aren't hundreds of threads and hundreds of pages on a single thread indicating that the poll is, in fact, accurate. No, we're all conspiring to get rid of the greatest creation to ever grace POE, the lab.

I'm sorry but at some point you're going to have to put away the tin foil hat and realize a lot of people don't like lab. Every single day there is at least one NEW PERSON posting a NEW LAB THREAD on these very forums as well as on reddit. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Please stop acting intentionally like a fool, you're not that stupid. There are more lab threads than there were ever desync threads, and desync was the worst thing to ever happen to POE.

Theres less than 6 total pages of content related to liking or disliking lab. Only 2 of them are active. And both those threads are actively posted in by a handful of people.

Not exactly the same as other threads posted in by a larger amount of different people.

I keep throwing it at you because it's the most obvious fact on the fucking planet that clearly illustrates the results of the poll are fairly accurate. If you are too foolish to realize that then there isn't much I can do for you.

The hell are you even talking about? Every one of those posts is made by a different person, it's not even remotely close to being the only threads about lab, and there's one thread sitting on the front fucking page that is 299 pages long.

Clearly I'm missing something in your post. Sarcasm? IDK what it is.

Thing is these threads would die off if a group of people could stop bumping them because of wanting to make their opinion wanted.

And the pages fill up rather quickly because people do personal debates so you end up with 5 pages of 4 people arguing.

Now if it was 299 pages where every post was made by a different account then maybe you could say that a lot of people hate labyrinth. (I bet the number of pages would be <30 if you trimmed it down to 1 post per account)

And it still wouldn't be representative because:
1) A small % of people actually go to the forums
2) People are more often to express their opinion when it's time to complain about something rather than give praise to something (and thus the reason why 90% of feedback section is people complaining about stuff that annoys them rather than giving positive feedback on stuff they like)

I won't even begin to argue how bad an argument is bringing online polls as a fact, nor the fact some members thrown around numbers without any citation or proof about the scale of players who do not like the labyrinth.
