Looks like Torchlight's Ember Lance/ Arc Beam has made its way to PoE. Loved melting bosses with Ember Lance in TL, so I'm very interested in testing this out!

From watching this.... possibly way too many times I'll add. I can confirm that I did not hear any crits from any of the video so perhaps the skill has a 0% crit chance like Incinerate? Another thing that I didn't see was a "Burning" animation. The fire damage looked more like fire hits such as inflicted by Incinerate. Still pretty excited maybe I'll make a build that... Isn't Righteous Fire?

Edit: Suppose controlled destruction and Elemental Focus could have been used to reduce crit and elemental status effects.

Means we can use Controlled Destruction and Elemental Focus more effectively if it can't crit or ignite.

wow...hmm the effect seems too stiff for me, I wish it can bend a very little when turn around and when start casting, I feel the spell appear too direct. :D

Yeah, Lazors! Was kind of hoping for that to be chaos damage, but whatever.

Well, I'm kinda disappointed. It looks like a better(?) version of incinerate, nothing new.
