I'm trying to get rid of my amulet+rings in order to match yours (and so be able to change the gem setup) but I can't get resistances and str needed for my equip.

Right so that part was complicated and I just ended replacing every item in my gear.
Also more expensive than my previous parts, most were 2 exalts now.
I think getting rid of those unique belt and boost will be necessary too.

So, when picking gear parts like belt, boots, gloves, helmet I did search for both high ES and at least 2 resistances. And best if both are above 40%. This makes the item more expensive and have a bit less ES too.
Having an item with 3 high resists (above 35) would be great too, but that's usually even less ES and more cost.

Look at my current gear to have the idea, you'll have to fit yours anyway, to the items you'll find.

Lastly, you can take the Fire and Lightning Walker nodes, those give 18% resist. Of course it's better to spare them, but in the end they might be useful to cap resists.

As for strength I wrote in some previous post, but yeah it's difficult too.
I got +38 on belt, +22 on amulet (str & dex), one +30 on tree (needed). 2nd is close on left.

Your chest doesn't have any resists. Not sure if you can craft one there. Mine has 2 resists, but now I would only need 1 if I was changing it. Either way having 1 or 2 resists on chest is good too.

thank you very much for your advises, I'll take them in great consideration.
What I understood well is that CI ES good equipment is really expensive, I didn't thought so much.
Hope to find something in poe.trade affordable.

thanks again!

I got +38 strength on belt, +22 on amulet, +30 on tree (Physique, close on right), another +20 (Practical Application, at start in middle), +10 from Written in Blood (right), and one +10 traveling node.
Before I also had a 2nd gear piece with +30 strength, was easier.
So anywhere you can, since we need a lot.

There is also another +30 on tree, left (Might) in 2 points reach, and a +10 just above Vaal Pact. But of course it's better to get it on gear and not waste points on tree.

But if you don't have a lot you probably can still use Warlord's Mark, just a lower level, this makes it have less area though.

Thanks a lot, it worked fine!

How about CWDT, this levels (CWTD 8, Arctic 11, Freezing 15, Tempest 20) are the ideal? I didn't see this and maximized all :(
Would Avatar of Fire be good to take for this build? Most whispering ice builds take it to fully convert cold to fire, which doubles the effectiveness of the Snowforged passive, Izaro's Turmoil jewel (or any jewel with %Fire and %Cold). I'm interested to see what AoF does for the DPS.
Hmm. I just tried with Avatar of Fire (got Snowforged already) and I get 276k tooltip DPS with it (270k before). Tooltip also says that Freezing Pulse deals now only fire damage. Can be seen in game, enemies are burning.
So I don't see any good DPS increase, and already see 1 big downside, that is I don't freeze or chill enemies at all (that is useful).
IDK, it's a no for me, maybe if someone invests in burning damage or something like that with it, it makes it better.

6K DPS increase is decent, but I didn't think about the playstyle (freezing monsters) aspect of going full fire conversion, so thanks for testing it and sharing that information. Other ice builds (Whispering Ice, etc) are not as "up close and personal" as this one, so I can see now why the current setup is better.

It'd still be interesting to see how going full fire conversion with Avatar of Fire, plus replacing increased crit gem with fire pen gem, and modifying the tree to go into Heart of Flame, would work out as a variant of the build. The double dipping on any %fire and %cold could be significant for DPS, but it would truly make it a glass cannon without the ability to freeze/slow, though the blasphemy/temp chains makes up for that somewhat.
Hey

I really enjoy this build, and ive been following this to the end with the tree. How well are you doing with the breaches in maps? I find them quite hard, so i mostly skip them sadly..
No idea actually, I'm only playing on Standard, not often.
I guess if you check out the videos, you could get an idea.
IMO the damage is great, all normal monsters die quickly (usually instantly), T15's aren't difficult.
Tried few T16's, bosses are dealing big damage, but regular monsters there are very easy.
I don't have any mana problems, can cast non stop. Either mana leech is enough or for hexproof/reduced when monsters die then those 2 mana flasks are enough.

Ah okay crystal..
Guess i have to try it out a bit more. Have around 126k dmg in tooltip, but still only with a 5Linked, tried to 6Link for some time now, but without any luck. Only thing i really need is 2 new wands in my opinion.
