first time rolling a caster, had a few Q's i didn't see an answer to:

1. are hexproof maps a problem?
2. how do you sustain ES? or do you just rely on it recharging after not taking dmg for ~4sec?

1)hexproof maps are hardly noticeable, its % chance to avoid status ailments that really drags.
2)yes just recharge and vaal disc.

Anyone else finding Tul rather impossible to do with this build? Xoph & Esh went fine. But Tul is just a no-go for me. He seems to ignore decoy totem and runs freakishly fast and just swats me 3 times, interrupting my Dash with each hit. If i should magically (Hehe, magically) dash away, there's frost dmg covering the entire area anyways, and he does a room-wide "bullet hell" that i just cannot survive every 10-15 secs.

Anyone had any luck with him, using this build?

I did it on first try, but i died once till i figured how to dodge all of his damage. Just dodge everything and keep a sapphire flask with antifreeze always ready.

The build is amazing, the only problem i have is that i'm a bit struggling against bosses. Maybe it's just the gems that need to be leveled more or maybe i'm doing something wrong, but it takes like 5+ blasts to take down a boss on t11+ even with full debuffs active. Still need to get that damn doryani.

I was bored so I recorded this video just for you. This is how I completed Tul's Domain. Even if your damage isn't as high as mine (I'm only using 5L and not even 20/20 gems so your damage should be close to mine if not better), and at the end I haven't even used vaal discipline, so even if the fight would have been longer, I would have been perfectly safe. Oh and if the creator of this build wants to use that video feel free to do so.

Because Ignite doesn't scale with Spell Damage.
What flasks are everyone running? I never know what to run I have a bleed flask, stibnite flask, freeze flask, mana, and the sulphur flask. Am I missing anything that would help a lot and if so what would I drop? I'm on SC if it matters.

Usually depends on what i'm facing, but for general mapping i use a basalt with anti bleed and reduced charges used, sapphire anti freeze, a quicksilver, anti burn ruby (new map mods and against reflects just in case) and a stibnite with immunity to curses (amazing flask).
I play breach league so i tend to get an additional resist flask against the breachlords, one more basalt for uul-netol. Chayula is not a big deal actually since we are chaos immune. (honestly all breachlords can be killed without using a single flask charge, you can avoid everything and time a good pizza to 1 shot them).
I always have swap flasks in inventory like additional resist flasks if map has damage mods, mana pot for no regen just in case.
Honestly, i don't see a good use for unique flasks in this build.

Changing argument: I decided to remove 1 jewel to try ghost reaver since doryani has some leech and i have the 0.6% boots enchant: it is great, in breaches you can keep going and you are basically always at full ES and the 0.6% mana leech solves all mana problems (i did a 60% less regen map and did not use mana pot). It's just such a good QoL change, it really feels smoother.

The build is amazing, i just hope it doesn't get nerfed too much in 3.0.
