[2.6/3.1] Shaper down on budget 5-link - The Debuffing Pizza (Tri-Curse CI Elementalist Flameblast)
" Yes. The crit is a bonus as well. |
|
" Use one Elreon ring with at least -7 mana. And use a Saturated mana pot like the one posted in the Gears session. Normally one single 10-stack FB is enough to take down most bosses. In case you encounter a hard one, you can start using the Saturated mana pot right after you start casting the first FB. The calculation is listed in the Highlight Session. One pot should be sufficient to support long enough. You can also try to use Reduced Mana Cost support for the 6th link. You probably won't feel any "lose" in DPS. But you will feel a substantial Quality of Life improvement. |

" " Thank you two for the kind replies. I'll work on the elreon ring (hard to find a really good one). Mana pot is not enough at all (even running 2) without the elreon ring. I overlooked that section, stupid question by me, never had mana problems at all so I neglected it lol. Time to work on good rings! Thanks |

Hi, is a "Damage Over Time" affix on jewels worth looking for? Does it scale with burnig damage? |
|
" Wiki says: "Ignite is an elemental status ailment associated with fire that causes the affected target to take burning damage (fire damage over time)." It doesn't double dip, it only affects on burning. Other types do double dip (fire damage, elemental damage, area damage, and just increased damage), so those are preferred over damage over time. |

" I've upgraded my gear and have 130ES and 80INT less on gear than you, which comes out to about 10.5k ES with lv18 discipline. How much ES are you getting? EDIT: I see that the 80 int turn into 16% increased ES Last edited by EFSpooner#6832 on Oct 29, 2016, 11:32:49 AM

Elemental Overload gives "40% more Elemental Damage if you've Crit in the past 8 seconds." But we have Controlled Destruction Support, which gives us "100% reduced critical strike chance". So my normal crit chance is 5% (weapon says 6,50%) and if I equip "85% increased critical strike chance for spells" shield, my crit chance rises to 5,1%. Is the Controlled Destruction really the best support gem for us? What if we pick something else and stack a little bit crit? Elemental Overload gives the same "40% more Elemental Damage" as the Controlled Destruction. Or does 5% crit chance interact with our skills so we actually crit every 8 seconds nevertheless?
Edit: Well Orb of Storms doesn't have that support gem, so its crit chance with my shield is 10,1%. I guess that might trigger Elemental Overload on bosses easily. And I guess we don't need EO on trash mobs anyway. So it's good idea to keep Controlled Destruction and still stack a bit crit chance? Last edited by Wermine#1485 on Oct 29, 2016, 2:04:08 PM

Guys, what about take "Holy fire" node ? we can eazly take it with 4points and gain +70% burning dmg, and if we use increased burning damage on 6TH link will give around +70%. 140% burning dmg is OP, it isn't ? worth the effort ?

" We gain EO using orb of storms man, if u get crit enchant on hat (on orb of storms) and 90% crit if haven't crit recently on boots, we can eazly get EO bonus every time |
