[2.6] THE NEW FAKENER | DISCHARGE | SUPER FAST STRANDS | Cospris Malice | 9k+ ES | STILL GREAT AOE

Evening folks, first off, i'm really enjoying this built, specially since my first "successful" was the original fakener.

Atm i'm at level 81, got some gear, and its cleaning trash very easily, but i do have some issue with late yellow/early red maps (t9/t-12) bosses, i haven't tried anything beyond that.

I know clearly that leveling, getting uber ascension and some gear improvements (specially the gems on my volls, they are a mess) will help my single target, but i'm wondering which should i start with?

here's my gear, my profile is public

I'm far away from being an expert, but I've read almost all comments of this thread. It is mentioned that gem lvl and charges pushes the damage a lot. If u still lack dps go for assassin's mark/blasphemy. I would suggest:

1. get the last 2 points of ascendancy (some carry would help) and lvl/buy gems,
2. get the +1 boots,
3. get a belt with +1 charge,
4. get a 6link,
5. get the right enchantments on your helmet (important!!!) and gloves,
6. get some decent jewels,
7. go for +1 curse amulet,
8. reach lvl 90++

Hi, I'm trying this build right now, and have just now reached lvl 79, but it seems to be lacking damage, especially against bosses, the crits are too inconsistent since I'm struggling to kill even Dried Lake Voll, and clear T7 and T9 maps. Can someone check my character to see what's missing? His name is Somethingsomethingsomye. Thanks

You're using two discharges, one in chest and one in Cospri's. However, you don't have the 30% chance to not consume charges enchant on your helm. That way you will sometimes discharge with really not so many charges. Try only using the one in Cospri's for now.

Also your gem levels are still really low. Try to get them to 19 asap but preferably 20 or 21 if you can afford it now. You might also want to get your hands on Death's Door boots and a +1 EC belt because those extra charges add a lot of damage.

I'd suggest swapping the Discharge in your chest for a Power Charge on Crit and the CoC for a faster attacks for now.

I did what you say, and the build got so MUCH better! Thanks!

But now I have a doubt, I got both Death's Door and a +1 Endurance Charges belt, however this makes so I have a higher maximum amount of end charges than power charges. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Should I dump one of the endurance charges?

You are right in that you want more (or the same amount of) Power Charges than Endurance The way I did is was use Oak's favor in Merciless for the +1 EC until I got my hands on Death's Door and a +1 belt. Then I switched the bandit reward using the vendor recipe to Alira's favor. Now I have 7 power charges and 6 endurance charges.
Absolutely loving this build, however I think I've backed myself into a bit of a situation with elemental reflect mobs. I was running PoF/PoL and a CWDT Warlords Mark and everything seemed alright (still had a few close calls with elemental reflect). I've since picked up a +1 Voll's Devotion and have started running Blasphemy with Elemental Weakness + Warlords Mark and Discipline (dropped the PoF and PoL). My resists are Elemental Weakness capped. 95% of content seems better, however when I run into an Elemental Reflect mob I almost always 1 shot myself. Linking my gear below - profile is public if you want to look at my Jewels. Character Name: LeerooooyyMFingJenkins

Any thoughts on how to prevent one shots would be greatly appreciated - I'm thinking I might need to ditch Elemental Weakness and pick up a different curse but would prefer to avoid that if possible.

ES:9644
180/184/170 resists
477% Crit Multiplier on Discharge
6 Power Charges
6 Endurance Charges

Are you getting blown up even with Vinktar's rolling?

You are not using a shock immune flask. You are shocked while using Vinktar's so you'll take 50% MORE damage from all sources. Therefore it's mandatory to use a shock removal flask. I'd suggest getting it on your diamond flask since now it has bleed immunity, which is super useless because you have Death's Door.

Ahh good catch! I've been changing up gear a bit, didn't even notice I lost my shock removal. Will reroll that right now and report back later with the results. Thanks!
I have a lvl 4 empower and +1 socketed gem volls(saving up to 6l this). Would it be a gd idea to drop additional accuracy for lvl 4 empower gem? This would bring my lvl 21 discharge gem to lvl 26.

Also, would it be viable to not use a 30% discharge enchant but still using coc discharge on my chest?

Right now I'm currently using BV coc setup with empower since I don't have the 30% discharge enchant yet. But it doesn't feel exceptionally powerful compared to using Cyc+FA+Add Acc+PCoC+ICS+Fortify

Comments please.
