The reason we have to be assassin/ pathfinder is because Cospris Malice has MUCH less base crit than a dagger. 5.5% vs 8%+

This leaves us with no option but to heavily rely on diamond flask/assassin power charge base crit.

With this setup. Our shield charge already costs 0 mana! And cyclone only costs 4.



With a +2 mana gain on hit jewel we can cyclone infinitely without any need to be trickster!

I leveled to 41 with Axioms and blade vortex and switched to CoC discharge at 41.
Pick up a vagan dagger with AS/crit. and use Assasins mark on blasphemy. Level as hybrid until you can get 3,5k+ ES with CI. I don't recommend leveling as COC discharge without a Voll's devotion.

I got to lvl 41, 6 link Voll's (4G 2B) but no Cospri or Devotion, any sugestions how to level ?
I need help with gem setup here.

This is a coc setup that doesn't rely on discharge and does high damage. Good for leveling:

Cyclone - Cast on Crit - Vortex - Inc crit strikes - Faster Attacks - Bladefall

or the discharge version (weaker without devotion, needs warlord's mark)

Cyclone - Cast on Crit - Discharge- Inc crit strikes - Faster Attacks - Blade Vortex

Im having some trouble, I have devotion, 5L protector, and cospri's however my discharge doesnt proc all the time like yours does in the video. Im wondering is this because of my crit chance? its only around 30% but i dont understand how you got so much more if this is the issue. we dont get very much from the tree. If you can check my char out, the name is StaightEuphoriaQ. Im really stuck.

The problem with static strike is it messes up EE and you loose all your pen and you also don't have stun immunity like cyclone. The dude is playing in standard with 200+ ex gear, legacy vinktars, legacy taste of hate. I wouldn't call this a great representation at all.

Just one thing..would it be better to go pathfinder for shaper fights? I feel like i wont have enough crit chance nodes with pathfinder to make it work.

I just cannot decide between assassin or pathfinder.

Pathfinder has a different tree, we path down and pick up fatal blade to make up for the loss of not being an assassin. If you check out the ascendancy section you can see the ups and downs of both ascendancies.

I'll make it short and sweet for you.

Faster mapping, More damage, fast yellow/red boss kills, consistent procs on shield charge and huge AOE? Want to blow up packs with 1 shield charge? Assassin.

Less AOE and attack speed, more gear & flask reliant, better END game boss kills, sustain your flasks forever. Pathfinder.

OMG i havent thought about EE. Good job man.
Atm i trying to run with lacerate+mul+POC+FA+addition accuracy+ ICS and i feel its not bad.
What do u think about that?
