I have a Trickster variant and I had more issues with the whole dying thing than I have with Assassin. Assassin just has so much more + consistent damage and clear speed. Trickster loses a ton of crit which really hurts both your clear speed and survivability.
I face tank Atziri, Uber Izaro, Uber Argus, and Xoph with 7.4k ES so it's not too bad. I have Fortify, 79/75/79 pre-flask resists and endurance charges. I do not even have Vaal Discipline yet. I have not pushed deep into red maps yet. High 70s are very easy though. I'm not trying to lower my ES. I want to pull it up to ~8-8.5k and to do that, it will require Helmet, Shield, and Ring upgrades. I would like to wear a Doryanni's belt, but the lack of ES might be a deal breaker. " Assuming you are taking about the "%# chance for discharge not to consume charges". Although it's not a bad thing to have but it's more effective if you are using 2 discharge gems in your setup. " Yes, Assassin does get more damage and crit but keeping up both clear speed/survivability is not an issue if properly rolled. Trickster is designed for HC, so if you are dying more as that then you are doing something wrong. Assassin is no doubt a better option but should only be used when you have enough currency to fund the gear it needs (i.e resolve mana issues & have atleast 8.5-9k ES pool) Last edited by vvamic#7761 on Feb 6, 2017, 1:42:42 PM

I probably had more trouble with Trickster because I started as Trickster with zero currency 2 weeks ago as first Breach char. BIG MISTAKE lol.
7.4k ES is plenty to steamroll maps for currency farming. 7.4k ES is not fine for end game bosses and problem top tier maps. 7.4k is not plenty when you start considering gear upgrades like Death's Door. I have budget ES Helm and Shield which has a lot of room for (expensive) upgrade. There are also ways to run Assassin without -8 elreon rings as someone rolling Shaper in here proposed. Running this build while on a constrained budget is just not a good idea in general. There are a lot of expensive pieces that need to come together for it to really work.

" To be fair...I started on breach 2 weeks ago with the Trickster variant with nothing and now have all the main pieces. The only essentials to get going are: "enough" ES to farm for upgrades. Cospri's Malice. 5L Voll's Protector. Voll's Devotion and Vinktar's unlock mid-game bosses and content like Uber labs. Takes your Single target to the next level. Once you have Voll's Devotion, you naturally seek to unlock more endurance charges, which is expensive and hampering on your ES pool. I also benefited from the late-league breach economy and the awareness that I won't be clearing things like Chayula, so why not bank on the splinters. IE Chayula splinters, while valuable, do nothing for your character if you need 170c for a Voll's Devotion. " I am familiar with the setup "primaeva" used that to kill shaper. A dual curse setup will cost you a lot more than decent Eleron rings.(infact 90% of the OP mentioned build gear, would go for a +1 voll's ammy) Just as "Docbp87" said above, Stash filled with currency is a must for this build. For now you can stick to shaped map farming until you can upgrade your gear. |

hi im having problems trying to boost my accuracy in breach lvl 77 trickster ive followed ure guide but everytime i try i dont crit anywhere enough to survive help
