Why are you not getting the extra bandit for power charge?
|
|
" I haven't reached the endgame with this build before to confirm... but I've been following this build for the last week or so... read a bunch... and working on it now... I think the change is because Reach of the Council had less base crit than Death's Opus as a final weapon... and with the tree, gear, and 4 power charges, RotC reached around 75-80% crit... and with the same gear/stats, Opus can crit cap to 95%... This may sound better, but then you are much less likely to sustain your power charges with non-crits once capped... so the goal is to be at around the same 75-80% crit so you don't crit often enough to keep power charges full at all times... |
|
but what about deadly infusion? losing 8% crit multi? is sustain 10% on noncrit really impacting not getting another power charge?

Thoughts on these gloves?

" They're only about 1c on poe.trade if you want to try them... but in my inexperienced opinion, the Poison on Snakebite is too important... without it, you need to make it up elsewhere with a gem or something, and it weakens the effectiveness of Toxic Delivery and Noxious Strike... especially single target |

Hi!
I'm completely new to this kind of build, played arc witch and eq slayer before, but I've never tried a bow build so I thought I'd give it a shot in this league. Finally got to Dried lake last night and picked up some uniques and started to respec. I ran out of regrets after realizing I had probably gone too heavy on life during leveling, finding the right leveling trees was kind of a mess. My damage is very low. I would love some feedback on my current build and what passives to prioritize. Gear is probably really messy as I just spent an hour on it last night, can probably work out most of that myself. So, if anyone has some spare time to give me some feedback I would really appreciate it! Do I just need to get some more links? What passives should I get first to get me set for maps? As I'm new to this kind of build it's hard to know in what order I should fill out the tree. |

Started mapping yesterday and got myself some uniques, build is going strong but then again I'm sitting at T4 maps currently. Having only three arrows (eventually four with +1 Drillneck, probably my next upgrade) is a pretty big downgrade from what I was used to in the last two leagues :/
Got some nice drops at least, the Opus is self-found, self-socketed and self-upgraded. Don't mind the jewllery, just bits and bops I've picked up to cover resistances. Running two life flasks, Quicksilver, Jade and Silver, playing a bit more defensivly right now. EDIT: Also went Toxic Delivery first (only norm and cruel lab done as of now) this time, like it better than going DI first. Last league I specced into Heartseeker at the cost of life nodes, toying with going Entropy this time because Opus already grants a ton of crit multi. been messing around with this build for a little while now and was having some troubles. i finally managed to sort out my resistances and was able to equip a pair of snakebites - the difference is amazing. the damage is definitely noticeable and makes it a lot easier to play.
for people looking at a budget bow, chin sol is nice but but is annoying to use because of the knockback. barrage knocks them back very fast and you lose the close range bonus. death opus is definitely the better choice when you can afford it, imo. 4 addidtional arrow legacy reach would be the dream but its real expensive right now |
