(2.4) Wormblaster the Third (A Herald of Ice build)
Hey guys! This looks like an awesome build, I really wanna try it (in EHC). Problem is that, probably because of this build becoming popular, the price of all div cards that can net a harvest are through the roof. Since I am not a inf chaos type of guy - what would you recommend of the following:
- The calling, sitting at a stable 5c - The harvester, 35-45c a piece - The weapon itself, one was on xyz yesterday for 18ex Anybody know what the chances are of getting a harvest from the calling? Turned two sets in yesterday, no game . |

Is this build viable with marauder or Templar?

" Ofcourse it would however slayer's aoe is cind of a must for single target. Otherwise ur aoe overlapping wouldnt be as good and u would lose a lot of dps. Berzerker would be the second option with the 40% more damage but the rest of the node's would be inefficient since u dont benefit from leech thad much w/o endless hunger. Personaly not a fan of templair subclasses. But dont take my word for it, i'm not a worm master jet :D -cind regards: Bjorn dank

" Then I probably won't be such a lazy ass and level up a duelist this weekend :P Randall Flagg

" Yeah, I would be careful in recommending anything else than slayer, due to the massive boosts the class gives. I wouldn't write off classes such as Hierophant or Berserker, but: - 30% inc AoE - constant 25% life regen - 20% more damage - 20% culling strike - Onslaught The Slayer nodes are just so good for the build, I feel it's hard to justify not going slayer. Horrible content-creator and memelord.

I don't have the 50 ex to (lol standard prices, right?) test it,
but could a shadow ci work? Assassin, insane amount of crits and free power charges, ghost reaver, vaal pact, and blas+ warlord, cold nodes over witch... This just needs to be tested in action by someone, to see how well the dmg keeps you healed. Theoretically the flasks would be overloaded all the time that you can literally spam them without any cooldown. "Im smartest. Your stoped. Dael wiht it."

What sort of effect do you think doedres elixir has on CI characters... ?
"Fixing the endgame was hard - No matter how hard we buffed red maps, people would keep spamming Gorges.
So we turned Gorge into a red map" |

" There's absolutely no need to use doedres. I'm running 70 maps at 65 now with this belt and doing fine. Cwdt keeps vortex+ bv up all the time, almost endless worm spamming with high crit. Doedre is only needed if you want to chase some ghost or other rare mob that doesn't attack you a lot, which is very uncommon. You always take dmg = always proc cwdt a lot. "Im smartest. Your stoped. Do you think Pathfinder nodes can simulate The Harvest effects?

My current gear, almost 70.
Dmg is still a bit low, pack clearing is okay, bosses take a while. REALLY tanky, did a unidentified channel map 110% quantity, tri-essence boss with god knows what other mods, took forever to kill but totally self sustained the entire fight. Love this build. Just need more dmg and % for gems. Can't afford a Kaom's so I got room for some extra skills. Mana is still too low, keeping BM for leap and abyssal cry, nice aoe buff+ taunt. Leap is imo better than flicker, more control and mobility for pve. All res capped. 3800hp, soft, 34% armor, 20% evasion.
