(2.4) Wormblaster the Third (A Herald of Ice build)

hey guys!
plz help me ^^;
i really love that build... mostly..
iam not able to finish this damn uberlab... i mean it is easy as shit and very fast but yesterday i tried 5 times and got disconnected every run.
3 just before the last fight and 2 times whole fighting -___-
the trick with the not hold down lmt seem not to work for me..
and i really dont spam the flasks that fast.
thats frustraing.. D:
anyone got another solution??

Hey, this is related to the map mod "immnue to status alignment" or chance to avoid status alignment, as than the worms or any enemy can't be frozen = can't explode.

1. is opal ring a must ?
2. is 5 link harvest enough to handle shaper and guardians ?
3. why people keep talking about DC with this build ?
4. I have 30% mana reduction on Herald of Ice, does it beneficial towards this build ?

any reply will be greatly appreciated

1. Opal ring gives the most damage, since this build relies on cold and area damage increases. Opal ring with %cold damage from Essence of Hatred provides the best dps. Not must, but highly recommended for the most damage possible.

2. 5L Harvest is enough, since the last link is utility (for Vortex chill). You can move the Vortex into the CwDT+IC+Inc Duration links if you use a 5L. Shaper is chill immune anyway, so vortex doesn't matter much here.

3. If you spam the flasks too fast, the server will DC you for performing too many actions too fast. Very few builds will ever have this issue. This is one of the builds that does. The only thing you can do is reduce the actions to a point where it won't disconnect you.

4. Nice to have, probably won't matter much unless you have something to spend that mana on. I believe the OP has MoM specced in videos that I've seen, you can see his mana vanishing and refilling constantly (due to doedre's elixir + writhing jar spams). If possible, 40% Herald of Ice Damage enchant should be a better option if you can manage to get it.

Do you think Frostbite would reliably cast on the IC links? If so, would Arctic Armor be a defensive option to put on instead, with an optional socket for an increased duration for Fortify, a Vaal Grace or something like that, or even a Golem?
