Fixing Labyrinth - Solution Only Replies

Solution: leave laby as it is.

This game is not all about clear speed. It's all about fun. Varied gameplay mechanics are fun.
We fight to delay the end because it's the means that matter.
Solution: rework the lab.

One thing that would be vary helpful would be a way to see the full length of a trap before starting out on it.

The darkness on the dungeon tilesets are bad enough, but I logged out from one set just now because from where I was standing, I could see pressure plates on the ground in front of me, saws going up and down the sides of them, and a timed line of spikes, all popping up at once, on the other side of the U shaped hallway.

But I couldn't see a safe place on the screen. I couldn't even tell if the traps ended at the edge of the screen, so I had no way to plan or time my movements.
Problem: Uber Trial spawn is completely random, which can cause you to play for 100 hours without being able to unlock Uber.

Solution: Until you unlock Uber, make trials spawn biased, with a good % chance the next one will be one of those which you have not yet cleared.
When night falls
She cloaks the world
In impenetrable darkness
They could just make uber spawns an actual item in the game that is tradeable so people that do not need it can trade it. 6x Types of Orb of Trials
Okay, constructive feedback: leave it as it is. Honestly, I think that is the best option, because it is good like it is. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

Just please not another spawning of Abaxoth in a golden key room uber lab. That was a bit much, with no where to go ;-).

A lot of people do. Why take away their fun?

The point about non armour based builds haveing issues..
Well its not really about armour at all its about regen.
Most armour based or builds based on the left side of the tree are going to rely more on regen and big life pools for their sustain while evasion or builds on the right side will tend to rely more on leech for its sustain. Now especially when taking things like Vaal Pact you will find the lab or atleast the trails anyway to be a bit harder to manage on these builds because theres nothing for you to sustain from.

That being said there is ways around this though..
Taking advantage of things like your stash thats available before each Izaro encounter is exactly the reason its there. If you need to switch things around for running through the lab because of your sustain then thats what the stash is there for.

Im sure people will say but i shouldnt have to change things on my build just to be able to do it but its really no different than changing things around to run certain map mods in order to save yourself currency when mapping.

The ONLY issue i have with the lab that could use some tweeking is the very last fight with Izaro.
When you have a room 75% full of different traps along with whatever minions or buffs he has gained through the last 2 encounters this can become quite a mess to deal with. Sure it adds to the challenge but sometimes its not even a challenge but more so going to cause situations where your gonna get killed and there isnt much you can do about it.

Toning down on some of the traps in the last fight or making the mechanics you deal with in the first 2 encounters also effect if there are more or less traps in the room would be about the only thing i would like to see changed. Trails for Uber lab is another issue ive yet run into again this league... having found the first 5 within the first 2 days of mapping and now im about a month in and still have not seen the last trial. So again 820 will be required to enter. Maybe thats the way they want it. Atleast i can finish it but having no choice but to rely on others to enter the uber lab seems off but whatever. Its still worth mentioning anyway.

The rest of the lab is pretty straight forward and really not so terrible or difficult as people want to make out. Its a nice change from the normal stuff that can get you killed and much like anything else in this game theres builds that can cheese it and builds that will have a rough time doing it.
But much like all things its just something else you need to factor in when making your build from the ground up to be equipped to handle it. Any build can do the lab you just have to go about the way you do it a little different on some builds.

Problem solving in a game like this isnt a bad thing.. Having to think of ways to make your life easier when something gives you problems is a good thing i feel. Nothing wrong with failing and having to take a step back and think about what YOU can do to make this go better or to make it work.

There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.
