Path of Exile is an online Action RPG set in the dark fantasy world of Wraeclast. It is designed around a strong online item economy, deep character customisation, competitive PvP and ladder races. The game is completely free and will never be "pay to win".

Literally, the first paragraph when you click to learn more about the game?

AHAHAHAHAHA, strong online item economy ? Copetitive PvP ? Completely free and will never be "pay to win" ? Do i need to explain why is this bs ?

you can give your opinion on why you feel this is BS, but it wouldn't make it a fact.
ok, i will give a fact - premium tabs are p2w feature.

If theyre pay to win then why am i making more money than most people who have them ?

Logged into standard, sold some junk sitting in regular tabs, made 36ex in a few hours, bought myself a 6L Kingsgaurd for 5ex just to have.

Im not even trying to sell things either, i just listed a handful of random shit laying around i dont care for. I just made more in a handful of hours than most premium tab users make in weeks, if not months, using my regular tabs.

Premium Tabs offer absolutely no advantage whatsoever, in fact they are MORE tedious to use than Acquisition, which is free and uses normal tabs as if they were premium.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Labyrinth salt farm miner.

"But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years.
how do you know you are making more money than most people ?
Here's yet another reminder that every single one of the complaints in the OP still stands. The new patch fixed none of these issues. The Atlas still has tons of unnecessary, unfun grinding that can be trivially skipped by trading. People who don't do dozens of trivial and annoying trades are now forced to either play a vastly inferior version of the game or stop playing it entirely.

I've stopped playing entirely. Hopefully day three of this expansion wasn't the last time I'll ever play POE.

You can fix this problem, GGG. You can make the game better. Please do so.

That all sound like completely intended by GGG.

Most important thing = economy.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
First: I play SSF.

Second: A lot of posts in this thread is screaming "I choose to play self found, but I want close to the same progression as non-SSF players". As long as there is trading in a game, it will ALWAYS be the most efficient way to go. By far. There is nothing anyone can do about that. It's a flowing market, it will adapt - it will always be the most efficient way to "play the game". And if you feel the need to reply "well of course" to this statement, it wasn't meant for you.

Third: There are lots of improvement that could be made for self found players. A LOT! But the focus will always be 'economy', because in many ways, it's the driving force of the whole game. What SSF'ers get, is "leftovers". I'm ok with that, as I choose to play the game MY way. But, here is a point or two that I miss.

1) Trading "down" currency to NPCs.

2) More vendor recipes for certain mods on rares (but I guess Essences covers that, but they aren't in the core game (yet)

3) Vendor reward for 5L items. As drops, they are "pretty" rare, rarer than 6S - and pretty useful sometimes. Why no love for them at NPS vendors?

4) Self-founders have close to no access to Exalted orbs. Remove exalted orbs as a payment currency at work benches. It may cost the same in market value, but change the currency needed. If not, let Masters have a chance to sell an Exalted orb for obscene amounts of Chaos once in a while.

5) More "directed farming", as Divination Cards, Warbands, the new base items in certain maps etc. Nice additions.

6)
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

3. 5l are actually not that rare. Even 6L are not that rare. Even 1 item with IR and IQ can significantly boost the chances you see these. In fact I have made hundreds upon hundreds of jewellers orbs by farming dried lake for the divination card from voll. I have about 100 IR and very low IQ.

I make use of uniques like ventors gamble and IR support.

The game is balanced with the assumption you use MF items. So as soon as you start using them you notice what a huge difference it makes.

5) all they need to do is increase div card rop rates. They are so low that you are actually better off buying them. You can get random ones from Uber Lab but the entire point of divinatioj cards was to havebdeterminiatic farming, which it failed to provide.
