Atlas Telling Me Map Drops Shaper Orb

It won't drop from a legacy Oba's because it's the wrong tier. It drops from a chest at the end I think. Next time you try and it doesn't show up, turn off your loot filter. You may be hiding it.

Thanks for replying! It wasn't a legacy Oba's. In fact, the Oba's map dropped a few minutes before I played it. It dropped from a Maelstrom opened by Zana.

I'll turn off the loot filter next time if one doesn't drop. However, I did look around the chamber with ALT pressed (showing all items) and still didn't find it.

Then you didn't complete the map...


Oba's Cursed Trove has a handful of square-shaped zones where you must kill all of the mobs in order to progress. Once you clear the last one, Oba says " Haha! You are a mighty adventurer indeed. Use what I have given you and spread my legacy throughout all of Wraeclast." There is one more room to go into at that point, where there are two yellow Ornate Strongboxes, a Unique Gemcutters box, a Unique Arcanists box, and a unique Jeweller's box. If you didn't go in that room, and open those boxes... then you lost out on the best part/the whole point of Oba's :( I'm pretty sure you don't get completion of the map until you open one of the unique boxes. If you look at your Atlas, do you have the bonus/checkmark for Oba's?
