Corrupted uniques, being corrupted, can't be changed. This means they can't be fated.

EDIT: but something tells me the arcane aether is not linear in progression, because Kalandra can't trump Atziri, while Atziri can't trump Kalandra, suggesting they're about equal. But Vorici can trump Atziri without being able to trump Kalandra. Hmmmm
