Sounds like you don't care about having fun, since you claimed to play for so long without having fun. This is terrible logic that you don't want to play as "this is one nerf I can not accept" because it ruins your fun.

For myself, I love how GGG updates and rebalances. If anyone remembers the old cawblade deck in MTG (w/ Jace the Mind Sculptor) that killed build diversity, you can understand why it stops being fun playing during times of O/P builds.

Downloading the torrent patch now. Does anyone know if there's any way to make it work with the Steam-client version of POE?

(I use both steam version on laptop and stand-alone client for PC, wondering if this patch can be used for both).

Also, about the guys complaining about nerfs. Take it easy. It's not the first nor will it be the last nerf. I have 2 CoC Dischargers and 1 Legacy Mjolner just gutted thanks to this patch but its fine because it's quite normal. (Major loss on those two but hey, I've got a couple of legacy voidhearts and reaches now, something to celebrate about eh? :P) Lets try and find them more stuff to nerf by making even more broken builds [;)] rather than try to rant about the death of what we've had a chance to enjoy already :)

Just search for Content.ggpk and wherever it is, you have to replace it.

Though... something quite bugs me.

The torrent (downloaded and seeding, people) Content.ggpk unpacked weights about 7.16 gb. My current Content is around 8 gb.

Is this normal?

(Edit because error in size, still from 7.16 to 8.63... even without Atlas content is a difference)
