[DEAD in 3.0] DESTROY THE ATLAS! | 2H Dual Warchief Totem

poison + vulnerability + vaal lightning trap is really OP combo.

took gear from my essence league warchief totem champion, replaced fire dmg and wed gems with rapid decay and melee dmg on full life ones, put on voidheart, bought vuln on hit gloves and put it all on my domination league lvl 96 marauder who i alse had to ascend to berserker.

managed to kill phoenix deathless, and finally kill uber atziri (though used all portals). need to better up my game with atziri herself.

got 160k dps with conc, golems and totems up, 6250 life, and am using my rare 8% dodge chance 6L astral i crafted in essense without going into IR and US since i prefer to have evasion as another layer of defense.

i have also overcapped resists which greatly helps running ele weakness maps.

"How come only evil forces were released?" - "Because there are no good forces."
"So, then. You don't believe that there is a God." - "There was a god."
"Well, then. Where is he now?" - "I killed him," said Kane.

No changes to DoT and double dipping in 2.6.0, yay.

The second one is supposed to be Hatred which you said you wanted to replace.

Hmm - my question was supposed to be centred around replacing Arctic Armour. I am very happy with how Hatred performs. Reasonably happy with the DPS boost from Herald of Ash since it is scaled off our physical damage. But Arctic Armour doesn't really seem to do much. My survivability doesn't seem to have gone up since I added it in. I am always on the move so it drops chilled ground but as I tend to play linear maps mostly dropping chilled ground behind me whilst all the action happens ahead of me is somewhat useless most of the time.

So I really wanted a suggestion for what to replace Arctic Armour with.

So far I am either thinking or re-colouring sockets and adding in a blasphemy vulnerability or temp chains setup and Hatred or possibly going Grace and Hatred and dropping the Unwavering Stance and Iron Reflexes. I don't think Iron Reflexes gives me a lot since I only have the Devoto's evasion anyway.

I will happily go back to AA with Hatred and HoA if this doesn't work out since I know that the OP is very knowledgeable and for the endgame boss fights I am sure his setup is the best. (hence ideally I would prefer not to re-colour sockets if possible). But I am still in T10 maps at the moment so anything that could clear them a bit faster or safer would be great for me at this point.

I may well play this again in the new season from the start which will hopefully give me a leg up and get me mapping quickly. Just wanting to finish this last level I am on and then experiment a bit to see if there is a setup I prefer for lower level content quickly rather than Uber Atziri / Shaper which as I have only just started playing PoE mechanically I will be very bad at. Normal T10 bosses are starting to become easy now but only once I learned how they play. I would think normal Atziri at this point will own me quite a few times. And Uber lab too. But I am getting better ...... slowly XD
I'm going the route of the budget warchief, but I'm only getting about 49k damage with high level gems and gear that I think closely matches what he had in his setup. What am I missing?

I've had a quick look at your gear....and you can probably tell I am no expert XD

But you seem to be missing flat physical rolls on your amulet and rings. Something like adds 6 - 14 "physical" damage to attacks. That gets multiplied many times over by your physical damage increases.

Getting your gems to 20% quality will also add extra bonuses so it's worth aiming for that at some point. Your belt scales elemental damage when you are (or should be) mostly doing physical damage. A rustic sash based belt with give you up to 24% more physical damage.

Getting the Atziri flask, Lion's Roar and Witchfire brew also add a lot of DPS for when you do boss fights or fighting large packs.

For clearing maps you can use Increased AoE over Concentrated Effect. This will lower your DPS further but you should still one-shot most mobs up to around t10 which is what I am clearing. If you have your sights at t14+ though I guess getting that Disfavour is what will really boost your dps along with a genuine 6-link chest for more stats / added survivability.

Congrats on fully ascending though. Is Uber Lab not too much more difficult than Merciless Lab?

You have "Melee Physical Damage" linked in your Bringer of Rain, even though the helmet itself gives you level 18 of that support gem. You probably want to use "Melee Damage On Full Life" support there.
Any Hardcore players playing this build??

Berserker vs Chieftain for HC?

Thx a lot for the guide very comprehensive
first of all: great guide, really appreciate it!

am i the only one who really struggles with guardians (with dmg mods) and other hard hitting stuff?
i feel extremly squisy and get oneshot alot. of course i mess up sometimes, but there is unavoidable stuff (no idea how to avoid chimera meleehits for example) i just cant survive or outheal with warcries/flasks.

was thinking about using the build as a league starter, because leveling, gearing up and mapping (up to red maps) was a blast. after getting destroyed by ~15 guardians (sometimes i even ran out of portals) i dont see how i can manage to clear all content. guess im just too bad for a glasscanon build :D

Thanks for the tip Jaim and DrHarvey12. Completing Uber Lab wasn't that difficult. I took me a few tries and I had to take it slow before I got the hang of it. The most important part is to take a look at POELab and see if the Izaro phases are easy. If they, it's worth spending a few lab statues to try and get through.
