Hi Openarl, I downloaded the .zip version. Unzip it and run the Path of Building.exe and it open in fullscreen.. i can only close it by pressing alt+f4
Are you running a low screen resolution, by any chance? The window defaults to 1280x720, so it's possible it's appearing to be fullscreen; try using Windows+Up to maximise it.

Hey can someone link me the pathofbuilding 2.6 link? I looked on Github, it says its updated so i install the .zip file and i see no .exe file for actually installing the program. I'm going nuts trying to figure this out.
However inside the pathofbuilding file on my desktop i extract runtime-win32.zip to my desktop which brings up a bunch of icons so i click on the .exe icon and nothing happens.
Is path of building even updated for 2.6?
You need to get one of the installers from the releases page. The most recent installer version is 1.3.0, but it updates itself when you run it for the first time.

Just DLed it now(1.3.0 is the latest version in downloads section, or maybe I can't find the latest one?), and can't update to 1.3.13 by pressing "check for update" - always get error "update check failed: couldn't download version manifest".
Are you using a proxy, by any chance? The program cannot detect proxy settings, and there's no option to use one yet.

Is there a way to get the Juggernaut node 'Unrelenting' to be calculated into dps? It doesn't seem to make a difference, nor does 'Unyielding' fortify node on the calcs tab? Or am I doing something wrong?
Both need options in the Configuration tab to be set before they take effect; "Do you use Endurance Charges?" and "Do you have Fortify?" respectively.

I can't get the DPS calculator to consider Wither with 20 stacks for anything other than Wither itself, any tips? It just stays Wither (1 stack) among Curses and Debuffs for other skills.
Select Wither as your main skill in the sidebar, then select the stack count below.

You can select wither 1,5,10,and 20 stacks from the left side display, and in calculations. To see the dps of your main, best to just select 20 stacks or whatever from the left side display. Then select your main skill to see the new affected dps.
Thanks guys. Also learned about the special Guardian/Shaper curse/status ailment penalties today. Last I checked poedb didn't list those. Interesting stuff.

No. Is there any other, manual way to update to 1.3.13 from 1.3.0?
E: also, no firewall interruption.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

Few minor bug reports.

This Skill XML 'bricks' save files by making them impossible to open. I'm not sure how this was generated, but it's from at least a few versions ago (and a build I imported from a generated code). Removing the top 2 entries fixes it. I'll post the rather large file if unable to reproduce.

Second bug - the characters (, LEFT BRACKET, and % cause errors when entered in the search boxes for skill gems and items.

Thanks for the terrific tool, I'd contribute if I knew anything about Lua. Maybe one day...

That's unusual. The program updates itself directly from GitHub, so if that's accessible then the update should work; I have no idea why it doesn't.

I have uploaded new installers for 1.3.14, so you can use those to update though.

Edit: Can you test something for me? Try downloading this file. This is what the program is trying to download when it gives the error about the version manifest.

Edit 2: Oh, and another test: Initiate an update check, then once it fails, press Ctrl+~ to open the debug console, and show me a screenshot of it.

The first bug should have been fixed by 1.3.14. Is it still occurring?

The second will be fixed in the next update.

Oops! Didn't realize there was a 2nd (3rd?) update today. Yep, fixed in .14.
Any plans to include leech for both life and mana in the calcs tab?

I was actually working on leech calculations before I was interrupted by all the 2.6.0 news. They're mostly working, but there's still a bit of work left to do; the calculations are actually quite complicated, so I need to test them thoroughly.

Also having the same issue. The program appears as if full screen mode, and you can not drag it around, hide it etc.

99% sure this is caused by large displays that default to 150% text / app / other items size. Even tho we run at a proper 1920 x 1080 resolution, larger displays generally have to inflate the size of text and apps.

For a "kind of" quick fix, we can go to Settings > System > Display > and then lower the app size to 100%, launch and resize the PoB app, then change our system settings back to 150% (default).

You will have to do this everytime you launch the PoB app.
