Path of Building: Offline Build Planner [v1.4.71]

Bug report:

Concentrated effect is increasing the damage of the initial hit on infernal blow, when that should not be happening. Area damage modifiers only increase the explosion effect, not the initial hit.

Fixed in the next update.

The ascendancy trees are located outside the passive tree; so for Duelist you'll find them directly downwards of the starting location.

It does seem odd, but that is their "true" location on the passive tree; the game simply overrides their positioning when placing them next to the starting location. I may eventually add the option to have the program show them in the same way, but it's really a luxury feature, and I can't spare much time to work on such things yet.
Thanks! Love the tool! Best ever!

I may have just overlooked an obvious way to go about it, but I haven't been able to get blind to be factored into the new avoidance calcs.

Enabling the "Is the enemy Blinded" option in the Configuration tab will factor blind into the evasion calculation, and thereafter the avoidance calculations.

Ahh, right you are! I hadn't thought to check "Effective DPS" in calculations, and was only doing "In Combat." That makes a bit more sense in looking at the config tab again.

I do notice, though, that it's not actually being shown in the Evasion section of calcs. Specifically, the "Evade Chance" just magically shows a different number with no mention of blind with this setup.

Thank you so much for this tool! My inner min/maxer can't handle the opaqueness of PoE and this makes it all that much better.

Quick question about essence drain - why do you calculate "dot dps" for it instead of total damage? Right now my ED does about 112k damage with a 8.55s skill duration, for a total damage of 975k. The skill gems and passive nodes that affect DoT duration don't show as improving damage at all, which is totally not the case. Also, the skill calc for Rapid Decay shows that its a 30% improvement in damage, when its actually not (only a 21% increase, since it reduces duration).

I know essence drain is a special case, but given that most DoTs are going to be moving in the same direction as ED, I figure it might be more useful to make this a more exact calculation.

Thanks again for the great tool!

Not sure if posted before.

When I put green nightmare jewel in a scion jewel slot, it reaches the other two scion jewel slots. So if I have a 27 cold res jewel in each of the other two slots I should gain a total of 27 dodge from green nightmare jewel but it is currently not counting the other jewels socketed in.

True. I'll fix that in the next update.

Path of Building usually calculates and displays sustained DPS, and duration has no effect on that for ED. It does affect clear speed of course, but the program's output doesn't always reflect clear speed anyway, since it often depends on factors that it cannot simulate. I will consider adding a "total DoT damage" number though, since it is a useful metric for ED.

Are you absolutely sure that's supposed to happen? As far as I'm aware jewels cannot interact with stats on other jewels, so I'll need reliable proof to the contrary before I change anything.
