The Essence League Challenges and Rewards

All the nice thigs abouth cristals and they got a friking spike, i think some kid played in editor options and just pasted same thing on foot, back and portal.

I'm prettty bummed with the back attachment. Super basic and just meh....

I love the footprints and portal though. Just as grindy as last leauges challenges and I didnt' finish those either :(.

Ok, I thought the back attachment looked fugly at first, but on Icetomb it's kind of cool. (Or the Arctic armor, didn't look too closely which one that was.) Guess I should get serious about making an ice build at some point.

So...

1.) We don't really know what memory fragments are yet (unless you've played the beta), but we assume they're related to the new content with the Shaper and the Atlas.

2.) Some of these end-game grinds at the bottom of the list will take quite a while. Complete 10 unique maps? Grinnnnnd. 100 maps on the Atlas? That will take a while since it's 100 different maps. But good thing Atlas unlocking doesn't affect your drop chances beyond this league. Otherwise, I still think these challenges overall are easier than Prophecy (I know we all hated the unique strong boxes challenge).

3.) Many easy challenges, but some challenges have been boosted to take more time. For example, unidentified, low-tier maps was easy in Prophecy, but unidentified maps all the way to tier 15 takes longer. And then there's the uniques: from 50 to now 100. People will be buying a lot of unidentified, unwanted uniques. Others have been nerfed to be easier, like the Prophecy Chains, only one needed.

4.) Some out of order. For example, the Vaal bosses should be much further down that list since you're looking for 12 different Vaal bosses, not just a specific number of any bosses. I see a bit of Global 820 for getting that one done.

My Prediction: more players will get to 30-something, fewer will get 40. But as always the 1% will still easily get 40. Also, because of the Atlas, prices for higher-tier maps will go up a bit, yet prices for unique maps will be VERY expensive in this league.

It should be larger and with more crystals imo!

I like Portal and Footprints but would prefer larger version of Portal though.

Hopefully that's a global thing and not just for essence league >.<

Anyway, I might not even play essence league, despite conspicuously lacking a portal effect and thinking this one is pretty great. Standard is too tempting with my legacy reach....

I guess if the patch notes tomorrow reveal that my builds are getting nerfed (say, assassin gets nerfed) then that'd be a reason to try a new thing (flame totem chieftain?) in essence league.

For the vaal bosses you and a friend just save up your non midnight fragments. Run them all a few weeks into the league stand-alone in your map devices. Easy achieve.

A map that has yet to be identified. Either from a drop or from turning in three IDed maps of a lower tier with a vendor.
