Guardians of the Void - Unique Items
so, Snakepit + Call of the Brotherhood, BIS for Spark?
Maybe it is supposed to bring the Ice spells back to light, but not sure .. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

Please give us better reasons to farm end game bosses so all of us can make poison mine builds :D
On a serious note though, expected little bit better uniques, not overpowered necessarily, but some build enabling so people would actually use them in their 90s, assuming that's when these hard bosses are to be attempted. Although, even if all rewards are crappy I'll still be enjoying the Atlas, looks so cool!!! Good job on that GGG! Last edited by Tereng#1784 on Aug 23, 2016, 1:27:04 AM

" Don't see why you'd blow 2 ring slots for 2 projectiles when a helm enchant can give 3. Going from 10 to 12 projectiles is not a big deal if it cost you 2 ring slots. IGN: Arlianth
Check out my LA build: 1782214 |

" Agreed, the ring should've had 3 additional projectiles to be really useful, I really doubt if GGG actually tests these uniques with level 90 build in high tier maps to see their viability :S |

dang that mace tho

" It is suspicious that they don't reveal the bow, lmao. Wouldn't surprise me. Fake Temp League Elitists LUL

Lackluster uniques. In your fear of making overpowered items you just keep missing the mark, these uniques need more stats man. You either release completly broken OP uniques or uninteresting uniques that feel harmful to equip.

This community is hilarious.
If it isn't BIS it's shit tier. ZOMG OP...ZOMG Vendor Trash in the same thread about the same items. |

I think a lot of people missed the point of this expansion. And the original intention of unique items.
The whole "Make Rares Great Again" joke; the new base items with new implicits; Essence league. GGG is taking a step away from making unique items BIS. They were never supposed to be BIS. Rare items were always supposed to be the go-to items for players that wanted to min-max characters to the extreme. Most internally designed unique items have a downside to them. Maybe they have low health, or are missing it entirely. Maybe you sacrifice a slot for some interesting bonus that rares can't give. That was the point of unique items. Build enabling toys. Now, I know that hasn't always been the case (looking at you, Reach of the Council with your hilarious 20% slower proj "downside"), but the original intention is clear in a lot of their other uniques. Bones of Ullr was mentioned earlier. Great example - +minions for lack of defense. You can't get +minions on rares. It's a sacrifice. These items are also a sacrifice. Or are there to provide interesting interactions rares cannot. So why do I get the feeling everyone is looking at them as if they're a Nerf gun in a firearm store? Does no one remember what it was like to be a kid and shoot Nerf guns? That shit's fun, yo. I understand most people wanted a big incentive to farm the guardians for phat loot. But remember each guardian has 2 unique items. We've only seen 1. No telling what the power level of the others are. In addition, the guardians are acting like the gates to the REAL loot explosion: The Shaper. We have no idea what kind of goodies he will provide. Bring back race seasons. Mmmm... Snakepit + Call of the Brotherhood + Star of Wraeclast + Spark Totems... Seemed like a good idea but I doubt Spark totems is in a place where it's able to kill T16 bosses now... :/
I like that ring, though... |
