Patch 2.3.3
no responses at all? I Can't start the game up at all. After the patch, I'm getting a message saying the app can't be opened on my PC. A little help here? Where do i even put that command line to try it out? I'm not that savvy with things like this.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.00Ghz)
4GB RAM Sapphire NITRO R7 360 (2GB DDR5) Windows 8.1 Steam version of the game client. Performance became much worse. Entered my simple hideout - Elreon's layout, only crafting benches, 4 masters & the Prophecy totem - and moving around dropped FPS to as low as 10 while CPU usage jumped to 90%+ (without the experimental feature, the usage inside hideout stays within 50-70% range). Same issues persisted when I went to Ebony Barracks and tried to kill a few packs using Vortex. Whatever was suppost to help seems to have broken something else. I'm scared, last time GGG said "improve for most users", I can't play poe new league for a month. I think this is a conspiracy sponsored by computer hardware companies, they just want you to upgrade your computer.

" DX9 is not multi-core capable. What they are doing here is off-shooting some aspects of the game to a different thread. That might use more cores, it might not, but regardless, Poe is not becoming a multi-core executable since it's instruction set is still DX9-based. |

" You're not alone. I ran several tests to try to isolate some conditions for the crashes to happen, but quite hard to tell that early. Finally, i just disabled the cmd line addon, and i got some crashes aswell, though less often. Looks like it's not entirely specific to the multithread thing... Wow, so much hype for this change! Finally getting some decent fps while attacking.
And then I tried it.... Running through aquaducts WITHOUT option -> Lowest I saw was 25fps WITH option -> Lowest now 15fps and I stutter around horribly + Crash trying to enter Highgate. Please GGG, learn from the last performance changes and DON'T let this go live without an option to disable it! Last edited by Spanka6663#2076 on Aug 2, 2016, 11:30:38 PM

I'm seeing a noticeable IMPROVEMENT.
My build relies on freezing and exploding enemies, so large packs were causing hitches previously when they all exploded on the same frame. Now I can nuke those packs and performance stays silky smooth. Nice job! |

Intel i5 4690 3.5GHz
16GB Ram nVidia 750Ti (1024x768) Windows 7 x64 Samsung SSD 850EVO 120GB At least by now it's running smoother when turning on the new multithreaded engine. I did some tests with Burning ground, and the difference is noticeable with and without the command line. Problemas Conocidos / Preguntas Frecuentes - ¡Por favor lee antes de publicar!

" Threads are virtual pieces of code. Cores are physical assemblages on your processor, all computers can handle multiple threads, in fact, you might have 100 threads running on your system right now. |
