[2.4 | Video Guide] The Big Dipper & Galaxy Ripper - Non-Crit & CoC Vortex Ignites

Up to A3 Merciless levelling the new crit version, seems to be turning out quite good!

I've updated the thread to the newest version!
I will be creating new videos showcasing this new version soon.
I have a core map ready to go, as well as some other red maps, I just want to get a couple more levels first to fill out a jewel socket and some other nodes.

This version is fully focused around selfcasting, and outputs far more damage than the original 2.3, and the old 2.4 selfcast versions did.

I've played for awhile and there were a couple of things I've never though of myself. Seems pretty brilliant in a couple of places. This build is far better than what I've tried hammering out this league. Awesome.

Updated gem links to include 3 options for 4th link depending on situation:
Less Duration, Chance to Ignite, Fire Penetration

Updated the build to use Chance to Ignite instead of Less Duration, because you still have more than enough damage with it.

Viable without RF?

Non-RF is 100% viable.

You can spend the extra mana reserve and points spent on regen on whatever you want.
You can run non-RF and use Shav's to safely go hardcore.

The build can still oneshot Core Malachai with RF turned off.

Ok and the 30% dmg on helmet is necessary? Cause I don't wanna spend 10ex +, got shavs and stuff from other char so I would just respec and use that :]

It's not necessary, just a nice thing to have.
You can use a 5L or 6L just fine, its just a little cramped on gem slots.
