Small Labyrinth modification suggestions

Just to clarify quickly: the "checkpoint" suggestion I am making is supposed to be a means to allow a player to complete the labyrinth in multiple sittings, that is to say do a portion of the labyrinth, then logout/play another character, and come back to the labyrinth later.
It's not a suggestion to save the progression up to a certain part of the labyrinth, then allow multiple tries from there. I am not expressing any opinion towards that specific idea, it simply is too big a modification for this thread.

stash tabs were p2w from the start so nothing new here. in fact - lab is the only place where ALL players face the same loot tension (you only have your inventory inbetween stashes)

atziri's fight is similar - you have 6 portals. if you faceroll her then it does not matter (but then you are also used to not picking all the residue from the ground) but if you are new to the fight there is a decision: use portal now and gain 4 alternation orbs or save it for if i die horribly to the trio. three times.

people should learn to enter a map/lab with empty/sorted inv. and to pick up the items they want to sell via trade or items they want to keep + some currencies (including 6s). hoarding thrash is not the best way to earn money in this game (and lab is not meant to be played this way). if one wants to farm alts - there are other WAY better places to go

i still consider this a non issue. or maybe - a problem where the problem lies elsewhere and it is good it is irritating as it might force a change of behaviour
We have never had enuf room to store items in this game and every game like it ever made ever. Its a continual problem. Most ppl dont even pick up rares in this game cause why bother

On OP:
1. Yes, please. They are in weird position now. You either check them, and they give some drops from monster, or you skip them. Making them random would help, to a degree.

2. Unsure. Should be hidden for new players.
3. Most of the chests are pretty underwhelming, tbh. :( Should upgrade those.
4. Kinda agree.
5. Probably a good idea. Would be hard to implement, I guess. Also, not that much needed, as you can only save the currenct Lab, or current day.
6. Yeah, no need for double loading when having to turn back... :C

Small changes may not be sufficient to make people like the labyrinth if they hate it, but they can help those that don't dislike it as much, and may help those that already like it like it even more.

I personally don't use Vaal skills, so I didn't verify it, but I guess you have to start the fight with 0 souls?
Would someone from GGG mind telling us whether this was intentional or not? Likewise, I'd like to know whether Darkshrine bonuses (like no mana cost or shrine effects) not carrying on to the next area was intentional or not.

Given that even in Atziri run's you can keep them, this is kinda weird. And some builds REALLY need all the help they can get to kill Izaro.
