Chat Improvements in 2.3.2

I agree with many others who said off-line trading would be huge. If you're going to improve chat, it would be nice to have the reply feature so many other games have. When someone whispers me, and I want to whisper the last player who did, I have to type their name. If I'm in two conversations via whisper, it's even more annoying. Something like /r for reply would be great.

Would it be possible to separate the colours a little more? Slightly dodgy eyesight makes the subtle colour difference hard to spot and harder to intuitively differentiate between to and from at a glance.

I've never been able to figure out how to copy names that save after I close the game client and reopen to switch leagues. I don't want to use a macro. I guess this is one of those secrets that only ZiggyD knows about and hasn't been released to the rest of us ;)

ehhhhhhh.....

You use your mouse to highlight the name of the other player in chat. For that you click on "whisper player" and open chat with that. Then you press strg+c. Then you switch however many leagues or characters you want. Then you open chat and press strg+v. Unless you have rebound a many of your keys, this should copy paste the name.

Btw., this is how copy-paste works since fucking 1993.

The amount of stupid shit in this thread is really mindboggling.

PoE doesn't need an offline trading system. With the advent of public tabs, did you all see what happened to the prices? The really really good stuff (high crit harbingers for example) still are way expensive. But all other stuff lost in value, you can now buy double res, life movespeed boots for an alt.

It is erally hard to make a buck if you are selling shit for that price, not to say it would be faster if you just farmed in Dried Lake for 30 seconds. Should net you an alt.

I started trading in my secod league about 2 years ago. I used to make a forum shop, by hand, never used a third party tool. I used to make a fortune. Now I make some chaos, but the effort is way down, and the items I want to buy are way cheaper, so it's net the same. Which is all fine for me, the public tabs work fine.

I do about 10 sales a day, and buy about 15 items per league. I usually message 1-2 players per item I buy for me to get the item I need. Maybe not choice A, but then choice B usually happens.

I had about one bad buyer every league. Not more. I respond fast, by clicking strg and enter. My response usually is sec. Then I get to a safe place and respond properly or invite. Then I sell. I'm rarely afk for longer then 2 minutes, because I LOG THE FUCK OUT if I need more time.

The trade system PoE has is fine esp. with PoE.Trade, which is a marvel of a site. What I would change is have poe.trade be linked at the official site as a trade tool. Under the game tab, right beside the cmmunity wiki. Done.

Yes, thank you for the info. This doesn't appear to be listed on the chat command page. I Googled it and yes it's yet another "hidden" function that our paid support doesn't include.
