I have a few noob-y questions if anyone would be willing to give some advice.
Why do we use a bow now over a staff? Is it just for the quiver? How much cast speed do you guys have? I've been using a Rod of Reverb for leveling, and got a really cheap 5L +2 staff to use but it feels so incredibly slow to cast without spell echo. What do you do to keep up with mana costs? SRS gets pretty mana-intensive once you have 4+ support gems and Clarity isn't really cutting it anymore. When is a good time to switch to CI? What amount of ES is "safe" for progressing thru merciless? Really only looking for a benchmark to start at. Been rocking life for leveling, naturally, but with each level I'm feeling more and more vulnerable. Sorry if these questions have obvious answers I'm missing.. I've never played SRS in the past, only classic spectre summoner. He who does not do x will never accomplish y.

" I decided to go bow cause 20 srs is way easier to sustain than 50 so we don't need as much cast speed as before, and the benefits of a staff just weren't outweighing the benefits of the Soul Strike Currently i have 3.34 Casts per seconds without flesh offering and 3.92 with it, and it feels pretty good, took a moment to get used to compared to the old 8+/s we had before For mana, i take Dreamer, Deep Thoughts, and Dynamo in the tree, high level Clarity, mana reg on rings, and mana reg roll on a blue pearl amulet, currently sitting at 256 manareg on my breach character. -- but you shouldn't have mana problems with a 5L normally. switching to CI is something you usually do around lvl 70, but it just depends on your gear, do it when you feel you'll have more survivability with it than without I adapted my gameplay a bit, less standing still and casting and more moving around, cast a few, more around, repeat... |

Orb storm better then arc+totem? U use it for curse? Does ele weak best curse, equilibrium + ele weak works good?
Zombie + Spectres make good dps or just for defence? Thanks for answers! |

" orb of storm with curse on hit is better than the spell totem arc in an offensive manner, more dps increase with ele weak and equilibrium, and my gem setup on srs makes it deal mainly elemental damage already zombies and spectres are just there to tank, that's why i use daresso's statues and just minion life as link. |

" you can only use raise spectre on a corpse, and these statues are the most tanky spectres i've seen so far, they're in the Grand Arena in A4, just go to the wp, check the pack left and right of the wp, it's the giant statues, Towering Figment, kill them, target the corpses, than use raise spectre on them, and you can go to map with them :3 edit : they also spawn in the Arena Map if you want higher level ones Last edited by Saltizard#3385 on Dec 10, 2016, 3:25:49 PM

Did you use a Vorici recipe to get 3R3B on your crude bow or just singles?
