[3.1][reworked][abyss ready]cmphx's Lootfilter: Conservative, reliable, easy to edit. Always updated
Hey guys I'm sharing my lootfilter here because people asked me to. You dont get a wall of text here about the story of my life, PoE, the filter and how i made it. No need for that.
It is one file for everything, covers all aspects of the game. Works great for fast mapping as well as racing/leveling. Not overloaded with fancy colors. Sounds are carefully chosen, the more "important" a drop sounds, the more important it is. Install and forget. I cared about the rest. " Example map run to see how it works/sounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQh9g2MZr9Q It has the following key features: - Never miss anything important: Everything you should check out makes a sound, the louder+more urgent the sound, the more important the item is - highlights top tier base rares with a golden border: very easy to see which rares to pick up - basic leveling/racing filter included: never miss a quicksilver - mostly conservative colors: White items still white, rares yellow, etc. - short file/easy to customize. Not overloaded with features noone needs. I recommend using the website linked above for editing - reliable: frequently updated for new leagues&tested by many people I could release a complete list of what it does and why, but lets be honest noone wants to read it anyways. Just install it and try it for a few maps. If you still want to know something, post it here or just edit the filter and have a look for yourself. I made it very clearly arranged with comments on each section. The filter is used by many people in my guild and friendlist and will be updated for every new league, usually a day or two in advance. In "chrom..." section you forgot to add item dimensions width=2, height=3

Too bad filter. Just to give an example, I used it for half a day, if you press ALT the items hidden by the filter can not be distinguished and on top it sometimes overlooked some chromes (recipe).
Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?

" its not a mistake, done on purpose. why would you clog your inventory with 2x3 or even 2x4 chrom items, its not efficient RIP King of the Forest view-thread/1738625

Does this work when leveling up? Looking for all-in-one filter, that can work on lower levels (so it doesn't hide white items) but automatically transitions into mapping, when you don't want to see junk white items (other than high level bases).
Feature that sells this filter to me: highlighting top-base rares. I can't remember names of top rares, even tho I played over 3k hours... :( Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. | |
" yes it features leveling up stuff - the current highest physical dps bows/2handed weapons appropriate for your level are highlighted with a green/red border, and good caster weapons have a blue border ( to be in line with green/red/blue gems). also 3Links, 4Links, quicksilver flasks are highlighted early on. It transitions into mapping so that in maps you will not see junk anymore. New data for filters will be released on thursday so you can expect an update for 2.4 on thursday night or friday afternoon. stay tuned!
