i would link Ash+Purity+Hatred in it if it has 15% reduced mana reserved, wich would result in an ~ 140k dmg increase (nearly same as Great old One's Ward together with Purity instead of Ash). i think this could be a viable option because you could also go for good life on the rare shield. but it could be very expensive. we will see. ty for the hint


btw: the full gear rework with new purity and maybe some additional skill tree changes will be added after league start, because it needs some ingame testing wich solution feels the best ;)

Just put them on a 4-link. 3 auras and an enlighten, which is, like I said, 88% reservation. The chieftain tree as it exists now, but removing blood magic and tukohama's, has 712 mana. At an 88% reservation, that's just short of enough to cast warchief twice with no delay. I can see myself spending those bonus blood magic points to get more mana just to see if it works.

i tried scion with chieftain/hierophant and the little MoM note from Devine Guidance is a real problem because it takes all ur mana if you get hit. this result in few seccond where you cant place totems, wich means you cant defense urself. and as normal hierophant you dont have any heal mechanics like heal or warcry wich i dislike


I played Jugger all of HC incursion and HC throwback so it’s possible to function using only potion heals and Regen safely. Although I had the additional charges and Mitigation that helped augment. Potentially worth a try but they reworked the Templar tree so you might lose some points being so Far away from the DPS nodes.

So does the chieftain build have less damage with more survivability? After messing with pob it does about 100k less in most situations. What is the appeal to using cheiftan?

im either going this build or a RF/SR build , its up in the air i love RF but i wanna farm everything without trying and this fits that bill and is cheap starter so im leaning towards this as the build i want to do is for 3.2 and not updated , not that it matters i did it for last league and it worked out fine following his skill tree and others items
