"Ancestral bond" says that you cant deal damage, but you can still launch spells and hit enemies. For frenzy charges you need only to hit enemy to get charge. Your totems gets +4% attack speed and damage per charge since your buffs transfers to totems too. It needs to be tested with build to be sure. Maybe that bonus is not even worth for replacing instead of other links


i tested it and u will get a 30k boost up to 919k dps with the best dmg Setup with "Vaal Haste", "Atziri's Promise", "Lion's Roar" "Taste of Hate", "Concentrated Effect" and with "less Duration" - so i dont think its a good choice and i dont like the playstyle because u have to go in melee range for the frenzy hits

edit: i see i have also 0,03 more attack speed in one of the screens soo its not 100% correct, but i still think it a bad option to the playstyle

Cool. Didnt said that its good to use frenzy, just said that its possible and need to test. So now we can be sure that its not needed
btw i tested the dmg with a legacy "bringer of rain" but i loose ~ 100 life and over 150k dps AND u loose 4 gem slots, so the only "pro" is that u dont have the +phys dmg taken from and get the "blind" effect. imo i dont like it

edit: and u have to spec into one +30 int note (because abyssus also gives up to 25 all stats)

I'll definately give i try to this build at start, if they dont nerf this skill, since no patch notes yet :/
Clearing T3-5 maps without any problems with 72 lvl and almost selffound gear :) Btw i took 2nd totem pretty early, because im too lazy to use some other skills to kill enemies :D Better 2 totems and they do a job!
11k tooltip dps with hatred/Herald of Fire and this crappy gear :D


Update: bought some upgrades:

now with conc effect 53k with herald of fire + hatred

with inc. aoe 34k with same buffs.

Damn this build so rippy with enough currency :D i invested maybe 35chaos to this reach those numbers on 74lvl and 17lvl gems :D

btw this was without cruel/merciless lab points :)

irs a realy cool bonus for the endgame, but no must have. so every time when ur totems get killed the dot will do sometimes the rest.

as i wrote it in:
First i refund 3 Points in the Tree and removed "Unwavering Stance" because the chance to get stunned is very low if i always stay behind my Totems, wich i spend into an additional jewel slot.

This looks very interesting, indeed. Regarding new league I wonder if this build will be as strong as nowadays. Haven't understood if we will be able to find void still, with atlas. What do you think, guggle?
