Sorry, Im new here but I tried Increased AOE on Ancestral, it does not deal splash damage. Am I doing something wrong. I used gem set up like this Ancestral Protec - Melee Splash - Added Fire - Melee Physical then I swapped Melee Splash for Increased AOE.

as we dont do dmg over time, yes. sin's rebirth also offer 3 uses and a bit defense wich is insane imo.
and the vul curse from the flsk: u Need to stay near ur enemys wich u normally try to avoid with this build ;)

why i choose x over y ? because i like the item. simple as that

its hard to say wich is cheaper. facebreakers are ofc cheaper as e.g. disfavour axe, but u Need many phys dmg gear for facebreaker to scale the dmg. so i would say the difference is more that as soons as u get facebreaker (lvl 16) u can faceroll all Content in poe ;) (with the right phys gear) instead of need a high lvl for the unique axe.
and as far as we know this build will work great in 3.0 (no realy changes) ;)
