[3.17] The Warchief | [Facebreaker] Ancestral Warchief | Uber Boss Farmer | Beginner -> Expert
One more update regarding the Bringer of Rain variant.
Just because I keep trying things and they seem to work well, and others might want to try them out too. Final Gear
Spoiler
Flasks Jewels Swap slot Leap Slam/Portal setup: *mind the 3 green socks! Alternate gems I swap around: > Phase Run > AoE in helm for bosses > Abyssal Cry when I need to be more tanky > Added Fire for things that resist fire > AoE on helm more 6s, maps seem to drop with it for me Notice the gems in Face Breakers: Abyssal Cry + Void Manip + AoE + VLT This setup is mostly for mapping. It speeds up pack clearing. Basically: run upto packs > drop 1 totem > warcry > pop flasks and BOOM! watch the whole group pop in a nice purple explosion ;) By the time you pop the flasks the totem will be doing its first hit and start the chain reaction. Mind that you FIRST warcry and THEN pop flasks, because else your Lion's Roar will make mobs run away lessening the explosive chain reaction; the radius is not that big around each mob. Basically you want to slow them down first with the Hinder that Abyssal applies and THEN pop the flasks so they turn around running away and don't hit you, but are so slowed down that they can't spread far enough apart that the explosions don't overlap. Here's what the Abyssal Cry explosions looks like: and a short 1min video with some nice pops cuz that shit sounds bad ass ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXoBUiap1nI It's a very nice addition because it sort of bypasses you not being able to do damage because of Ancestral Bond. Because the abyssal explosions are not actually damage you cause, they work just fine. So yes, I do lose the ability to gain Endurance Charges, but tbh, I don't really need them for mapping, or uber. So this Abyssal setup in conjunction with Legacy Voidheart is ridiculous! and a lot of fun to play. Obviously the gear listed is pretty expensive with all those legacy items, but they are NOT required. Even non-legacy Voidheart will give you an insane DPS boost. Also I swapped out Enfeeble in my boots for Phase Run, for several reasons: 1) The DPS boost from the secondary bonus of Phase Run is OP! 100k+ DPS. 2) It works really nicely for lab traps. 3) It works really well in maps/breaches too. If you notice I'm using low versions of the gems in that CWDT setup because I only have 102 dex, so I can't really go past lvl 6 Phase Run, but also because the dmg threshold for CWDT to proc is much lower at lower lvl. Only requiring 700 dmg at lvl 4, vs something like 3k+ dmg at lvl 20. In my mind it's much better to proc a lowbie gem more often, than a high lvl one rarely. I should note that it is a respectable DPS boost from lvl 4 to lvl 20, about 70k, so it's not a horrible idea if you want and can lvl Phase Run and CWDT. and in case you're curious what a ~8min Uber Lab 5-key run looks like with this build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGU3M5_QtCk Last edited by corosou#7048 on Apr 22, 2017, 6:40:27 PM

Only getting about 105k 160k conc effect probably need better rings I laugh at pooping dogs, just to see them get confused.

I'm currently level 86 and I'm struggling with uber lab I can't seem to have the sufficient damage to end the battle quickly. can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm currently following your uber lab runner. Also does taste of hate really add significant damage? Would you recommend getting a tukohama?

" " My suggestion to you guys, and everyone else that needs to figure out their numbers is to get Path of Building and import your characters into it. There you'll be able to try new gear without actually having to buy it. So, PoorLime, you could see what better rings would do for you, and botsblizz32, you could see what ToH and Tukohama's do for you. A new update for the Bringer of Rain variant.
Been pushing the DPS numbers as far as I can. Here's what I've managed to pull off so far.. Fully Buffed *(conc. + flasks + hit recently + full life)
Spoiler
Same as above but on shocked mobs
Spoiler
Yes, you read that right: 1.27 million and 2.4 million ;) So, how did I manage this? Mostly some research into what jewel stats give you the most bang for your buck, swapping a couple of points around, and sacrificing a bit of life. For jewels, here's the list of the best DPS stats in order of most efficient: #1 Totem Damage #2 Area Damage #3 Chaos Damage #4 Damage Over Time Keep in mind this list above is for those using voidheart and abyssal cry (see my previous posts for full details on that setup). Here are the jewels I got so far: |

If I choose the chieftain assendancy over berserker, my totems would be squishy?

Bringer of Rain update
More DPS ;) starting to feel like Dragon Ball Z over here hehe It's over 2million!
Spoiler
It's over 4million!
Spoiler
The above are fully buffed: conc. + temporal + phase run + flasks + hit recently and + shocked enemies for the 4mil calc The changes: In Temporal Chains, out Stone Golem. Temporal Chains is a huge dps boost for poison as "other effects on cursed enemies expire 40% slower". I also changed from helping merc. Oak to passive point; got rid of "Cloth and Chain", and got "Exceptional Performance" instead. Import link for Path of Building:
