[2.6] Crit Shock Nova Inquisitor; nice DPS; Cold-Hybrid [Short Guide](cheap)

Orb of Storms in this build, since it scales with Shock Nova and all our gear and the skill tree, is kind of the best you can get for applying curses.

You could use the Heretic's Veil http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Heretic%27s_Veil, or cast the curses yourself, but with Heretic's you end up without the Heralds/ Discipline.

You use two offensive skills. Orb and Shock Nova.

Then you use LW sometimes.

It's pretty straight forward as it is.

Hi.

So I'm about to try this build or something very close to it as it looks really fun.
One question tho since I'm still new to poe. How do you go about doing merc/uber lab with this build? Do you do it as CI?

Thanks for the guide o/
Merc lab is easy, Uber needs better gear and you might also switch to Storm call as single target damage, if you do it alone.

You can always have a friend with you or just pay somebody for it, if your skills/gear doesn't add up. You need to to the Uber-Trails anyway and that implies doing tons of maps anyway, if you don't "buy in" or hunt the trials.

Switching from life to CI or from hybrid to CI is always wonky for some time, as long as you don't have the items.

A good life build will still be Uber viable, it really depends on your skills to dodge Izaro (run around) etc.

The damage and clearspeed is still great, compared to the Flameblast Totem build I run in Legacy, which isn't undergeared and a good skill, too.

Which kind of jewels should I use with this build?
Thanks for the guide, just started leveling it and it's a breeze/super fun.

I had a question concerning the tree. I'm on SSF (Cadiro sold me brotherhood last night, so was finally able to make this) so I'm pretty much forced into starting as Life, since I won't have GG ES gear. Most of the other Shock Nova builds I've seen use MoM, which I noticed you didn't pick up.

Is it because you run such low mana with the Heralds? Do you think its worth dropping Arctic Armor and hitting MoM up. You would still have 40%ish mana pool, and with the increased mana nodes around, and maybe picking up a couple more (dropping like flask nodes), I would assume you could still take some pretty big hits.

Thanks,
