[2.3] Inquisitor - Voltaxic Lightning Arrow Cold/Chaos Non-Crit (On Hold, read current status)

Current Status:
->Reached mapping on the char again, however this time I tried to base more on Armour and left Evasion a bit out of the equation, changing some points on the tree wich went horribly wrong.
->I will roll a different charachter for now, and when I get some patience and currency in the near future, I will then relevel as the original, with Armour/Evasion.
->Until then I will be honest, I won't reccomend it for Hardcore or for new Players.
->Should have just made a Video on the original, however that character is long gone, on Hardcore you often have to start from scratch, so having it's gear already there waiting, would be unfair and not an actual test for HC viability as it was intended to test if I could afford the Voltaxic / Call of the Brotherhood and the rest of the gear self-fund aswell.
-> The build did work on the original, so don't be afraid to try it, I just won't reccomend it for the mentioned cases, untill I can prove it with a video.

First of all, what is this build and who is it suited for?
Spoiler

1. Anyone who wants a build that is designed experienced players. EDIT: Until new test with the original Armour Evasion gear wich was being pretty awesome, I cannot reccomend this for new players, Fully Armour based build can get you oneshot if you're dodging skills are not above average tier.

2. Someone who seeks a build that are not too expensive however require some uniques to make it work as intended.

3. People who enjoy ranged characters.

4. A build that is viable for Standard. EDIT: Tested for HC viability, however as I tested I tried to focus more on armour then before, leaving evasion a bit out of the equation, wich went horribly wrong.

5. People who like to try non-meta builds .

Cons:
1. Requirement: Voltaxic Rift (Not as Expensive now, but still costs a few chaos)
2. Highly Recommended: Call of the Brotherhood (Bit Expensive (30c+), however you can do well without it until you have enough saved)
3. Dex and Attack speed are a bit low, but we are mean't to oneshot the mobs, not spam them, also after we get our ascendancies, it all gets rolling well.

Build mechanic introduction:
Spoiler

For defenses, this build utilizes Life/Armour/Evasion and Life Regen plus Consecrated Ground. We will be using Physical to Lightning to turn our Lightning Arrow fully into Lightning Damage, we will then use Voltaxic's Rift to Convert 60% of that Lightning Damage to Chaos. Now all that is left is add some Cold damage by using a Call of the Brotherhood Ring so we have a chance to Chill/Frezze since our Chaos damage will already shock thanks to the Voltaxic's Rift

Skill-gems and setups:
Spoiler

Offensive Setup

4L -> Lightning Arrow - GMP(LMP until you have level for GMP) - Physical to Lighting (for the full conversion to Lightning) - Added Chaos Damage
5L -> Lightning Arrow - GMP(LMP until you have level for GMP) - Physical to Lighting (for the full conversion to Lightning) - Added Chaos Damage - Faster Projectiles (For faster Clearspeed)

6L -> Lightning Arrow - GMP(LMP until you have level for GMP) - Physical to Lighting (for the full conversion to Lightning) - Added Chaos Damage - Faster Projectiles (For faster Clearspeed) - Culling Strike|Life Leech (would prefer life leech for Hardcore)

Defensive Setup:

4L - Cast When Damage Taken,Immortal Call,Increased Duration, Molten Shell

Dealing with single Target(Rares/Uniques):

3L - Frost Wall - Faster Casting - Spell Totem
-> The Lightning Arrow triggers after hitting the Frost Wall, making it quite easier and safe to kill Rare and Unique monsters
->If your reservation can't afford the mana cost, remove the faster casting, it will still be enough

Mobility/Golem:

3L - Blink Arrow - Faster Projectiles - Faster Attacks -/- |Summon Lightning Golem/Summon Chaos Golem/Summon Stole Golem| (If you are playing on Standard, suggest Lightning Golem, if you are on Hardcore I suggest Chaos Golem or Stone Golem)

Auras/Mana Reservation:
Clarity (To be able to sustain mana cost with some mana resenved) -/- Herald of Ice (25%) -/- Herald of Ash (25%)
If you are playing on Hardcore:
Artic Armour (25%) -/- Clarity -/- Vitality (35%)

Curses:
Warlords Mark (If you don't like to cast curses manually, use it on CWDT instead of Molten Shell or use it with Blasphemy instead of one of the Heralds or the Vitality)

Spoiler

Ascendancy Class: Inquisitor

In Order:
Ascendancy Points: Sanctify, Pious Path, Instruments of Virtue and Augury of Penitence.

Leveling Tips:
Spoiler

1. Get Lightining Tendrils/Spark/Freezing Puls after killing Hillock.

2. If you find any other Sceptre on ground pick it up and use it.

3. At level 12 Switch to Lightning Arrow and LMP, and if possible try to get a Stormcloud Unique, they are cheap and very good for fast leveling. A Karui Ward also helps a lot with the Dexterity Issues on start.

4. Save for a Roth's Reach, very dependable bow. Else wait a bit more and get either Doomfletch or Death's Harp.

5. Goldrim is a very good item to have dependable resistances while leveling.

6. Get a Quicksilver Flask that removes Freeze as soon as possible, also have a Flask to remove Bleeding at all time from Act 3 Normal Onwards.

7. If you feel you are doing enough damage, invest in life nodes first!

8. Start saving for a 5L body armour (Armour/Evasion Based) after you get a decent Bow, they are very cheap at the moment.

9. Try to get an Item with life leech or a jewel with life gain if you are not being able to sustain on start.

10. The attack speed can be slow, add a jewel similliar to this if you feel like you could use some extra:

Bandit Quest Rewards:
Spoiler

- Normal : Help Oak for 40+ life.
- Cruel : Kill them all for 1 extra skill point or Help Kraitin for some extra attack speed.
- Merciless: Kill them all for 1 extra skill point.

My Current Gear:
Spoiler

Will be Updated when I find patience to relevel a char as the original with Armour/Evasion gear.

Jewel Prefered Mods:
Spoiler

- Inc. Maximum life %
- +# Life Gain on Hit
- Inc. Lightning Damage + Chance to Shock
- Inc. Damage
- Inc. Attack Speed
- Chaos Resistance
- Dexterity (if perfect roll)

Needed Unique items:
Spoiler

Reccomended Unique items:

Spoiler

Call of the Brotherhood (You can run the build as effectively without it, but the chance to freeze/chill is very enticing since we already shock with the Chaos damage)

Note: It is my first tine posting a build guide, so to make sure it had all the important points I took the main topics from a LiftingNerdBro guide (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1596920). He has some very interesting, budget friendly and newbie friendly guides, I highly suggest you check them out as I used some builds from him before and they worked pretty well on my learning phase of Path of Exile. He is also a very active streamer, and very friendly towards the viewers, you can check his twitch channel on the following link |twitch.tv/liftingnerdbro|
