" For casual mapping I would recommend you playing with a Rat's nest instead since your abysuss isn't 40% phys dmg taken. Also With Rat's nest you would still have a tremendous amount of dps with berserker. For auras switch out grace for hatred. Once you are using rat's nest you would also be able to do reflect maps with wearing a Rat's nest. The second reason why you are dying from reflect pack is because you are using earthquake as I have stated in the guide earthquake is quite dangerous against reflect packs as the after shock does not leech. I would recommend you if you want to keep abysuss switch to a multistrike skill like sweep or ground slam as the initial hit is broken down to 1/3 of its initial damage, but higher dps overall. For bossing like malachai or uber atziri wearing an abysuss would be better. Cause from my point of view your dps is extremely high atm. What potions are you using atm? Thanks again for the enlighten 3 and rats nest. I'm really grateful to have some options for this build.
Update on my progress. Currently level 86 (aiming for 94). Today I managed to 6 link my Hegy era giving me some more gear options for a chest. Stats: - 5.5K hp - 44K dps rats nest (no charges\flasks up) - 74K dps abyssus (no charges\flasks up) Gear: Notes: - Tried some carcass jack and for mapping it's nice but when shit gets tough I really prefer my coil for more phys dmg mitigation. - Tried sweep for a bit but it costs too much mana when running AA\Hatred\AoA\Enl3. Also I really like the fire-and-forget playstyle of EQ. - Rats nest is awesome for regular mapping and so is carcass jack. However for more phys heavy maps I prefer a lightning coil allot. - Exactly res capped when using my lightning coil, easy capped when using carcass (nice for ele cursed maps). - Running Ice Golem rank 11 on CoDT so I don't have to recast it every few packs (gives me 5% crit/acc less compared to a rank 20) - Blood rage is fun to use, now I get all three charges :P - Brutal Fervour is nice, however I have not tried Impact so hard to compare. Though I think our clearspeed is already insane so Impact will be less valuable. - Got Atizir promise flask but I simply don't need the DPS. Cleared: - Double malformation with some mods - Double residence with ele vuln and some other nasty mods > was a hard fight - Tank malachai in merciless, same with uber lab (after getting brutal fervour) - Tank the argus in that T10 map with some nasty damage mods + vuln Biggest point is that I feel EQ is much better for beginners and the main reasons are mana cost and you can do certain content safer. On earthquake setup, what is your thought about replacing rapid decay with culling strike?

" I was testing it and it seems to work pretty well. Things seem to die faster but as I do not have tier 15 maps to test, I don't know if it will perform as good. At least bosses get 1 shot when they are left with 10% life. For now I will be sticking to culling strike instead of rapid decay. :D |

Based on your advice on Rat's + Carcass and using Earth Quake vs Uber Izaro, I combined all your various guide gem link into earth quake + voidheart setup:
Gems Link 1: Cast When Damage Taken + Vulnerability + Immortal Call + Increased Duration Gems Link 2: Increased Duration + Blood Rage + Added Fire Support + Ancestral Warchief Gems Link 3: Hatred + Enlighten + Arctic Armour + Herald of Ash + Ice Golem Gems Link 4: Culling Strike + Less Duration + Earth Quake + Increased Critical Strike + Melee Physical Damage + Increased Area of Effect (switched to Concentrated Effect vs Uber Izaro) Gems Link 5: Leap Slam + Faster Attack + Blood Magic + Fortify I coupled Vulnerability with Cast When Damage Taken so that it gets auto-casted and I don't have to convert it to an aura to get its benefit. I was able to take out Uber Izaro before he even teleports me away! I was also able to take out twin bosses in T12 maps within seconds too. Thanks again for the great advice! Now I just need to figure out how to get away from monsters who explode after death. I can't tell when they will do that. My deaths are now mostly from this. Is there anyway to tell if a monster will explode when they die? |

" If you roll a map with increase magic monster % they are most likely going to appear and these monsters are usually hard to tell apart from other monster that has mods like bearers and other dangerous stuff. All i could say is best for you to go for more hp and kill stuff afar from your character cause when mapping we aren't always on alert and we are also always on a fast pace clear speed momentum. Hi again, I have this massive issue, where when using leap slam often, game can't catch up and I end up dead while swinging with swipe a screen away, while in fact I am in the middle of a pack. Is there any way to fix that or should I just live with it? :)
I am not new to the game and am used to lag and such, but it is my first time when I use leap slam as a main mobility skill and this makes the whole experience not very smooth. IGN: KINGOFTHESOUTHH

" You should post this on the bugg section on PoE forums that isn't suppose to happen lol. I really think it part of the lagg/delay(ms)/fps problem from your description. Since I have double 6L (coil chest, era weap) I figured I might as well use this setup with some more CWDT.
It will give me molten shell, enfeeble for more security and phase run, vaal haste for more speed. I've been thinking of temporal chains as well but enfeeble allows me to also use assasins mark \ vulnerability if wanted. On the other hand, temp chains is really nice for bosses. The second CWDT also allows me a higher rank ice golem (using 11 now because of only one CWDT) and Molten Shell is nothing to sneeze at on higher levels. SETUP: CWDT (9) - ICR DUR (MAX) - IC (11) - ENFEEBLE (12) - PHASE RUN (11) - VAAL HASTE (MAX) CWDT - MS - ICE - BLOOD RAGE (ALL MAX) LEAP - FA - FORT - BLOODMAGIC ENL - HoA - HATRED - AA EQ - FA - MELEE PHYS - INCR CRIT - INCR AOE - LESS DUR Last edited by foojin#2576 on Aug 10, 2016, 4:19:12 AM
