does getting reduced reflect damage taken help with the new elemental/phyiscal thorns mod on rare monsters? |

I'm wondering how Increased Flask effect nodes interact with Witchfire Brew's Despair.
If I take the nodes at the witch area and get 26% flask effect does this equate 26% increased effect of your curses? Ultimately I'm trying to figure out if a 20% quality blasphemy with a level 21 despair beats out a flask effect increased Witchfire brew when it comes to the final -%chaos res number. |

Hello good morning.
I have a simple question but it impacts the item decision on one of my builds. I'm currently running a magic find build, and I'm using lioneyes glare but the version without far shot. I went for the ascendansy far shot, and I realized now that the bow has been reworked and that is has far shot imbued. Swapping to the recent version of the bow will allow me to have the effect of far shot twice? and if yes, the node itself works are "more damage" on the bow and as "added damage" on the node?? Highly appreciated for the time. |

" No. An item which lists a passive skill as one of its properties essentially only grants the passive skill to you. You can't be granted the same skill twice (once from your tree, once from an item). Thus Lioneye's Glare's Far shot will not stack with the Far Shot Deadeye ascendancy passive. Far Shot (from either source) acts as a More modifier to your damage. Note that this only applies if the item modifier is exactly the name of a passive skill. If it simply has the same effect as is listed on a skill, it will stack. For example, the Far Shot granted by Lioneye's Glare will stack with the Deadeye ascendancy passive for the Ascendant. " The general rule of thumb is that totems use your offensive stats and their defensive stats. (Although this is not entirely correct. I hope Mark_GGG will forgive me for butchering the terminology for the sake of an easier explanation.) "Gain Her Embrace for 3 seconds when you Ignite an Enemy" is in this context counted as an offensive stat. Thus if the totem ignites an enemy, the totem will gain Her Embrace. The stats granted by Her Embrace are: - Cannot be Stunned - 123% of Sword Physical Damage gained as Extra Fire Damage - Unaffected by Burning Ground - Immune to Freeze, Chill and Ignite - 20% increased Attack, Cast and Movement Speed The red modifiers are "offensive" stats. Since the totem uses your offensive stats, it will not benefit from these stats if Her Embrace is on the totem. Modifiers in green are "defensive", and thus the totem will benefit from them while it is in Her Embrace. Last, there is the "While in Her Embrace, take 0.5% of your total Maximum Life and Energy Shield as Fire Damage per second per Level" modifier on the sword. This is not an "offensive" stat, thus it does not affect the totem. Note that the damage is not a property of the Her Blessing buff itself! If you somehow got Her Blessing, but didn't have Oni-Goroshi equipped, you wouldn't take the damage over time! This is exactly the case with totems. So a totem will not take the DoT, even while under the effect of Her Embrace. TL;DR: The totem will technically gain Her Embrace as a buff. But it will probably not benefit from it in any way that you would want. It will not take the damage over time either. Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Jan 3, 2018, 8:10:40 AM

Does Soul of Yugul or Slayer's Headsman node reduce the Golden Rule jewel reflected bleeding?

Does Gloomfang "http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Gloomfang" work with minions? Specifically Solar Guard spectres?

" Same rule as always; your modifiers do not apply to your Minions unless explicitly stated otherwise. You have Gloomfang equipped - your Minions do not. |

Getting frustrated with Defiled Cathedral boss melting my 8k ES in 2 seconds. What are those red beams, and can I do anything other than avoid them entirely.
