Mechanical Questions Thread
GGG partners, my question is this: Does a person who plays 5 hours a day, every day, have the same chance or chance to drop an Exalted or rare drop, from who plays for example for 16 hours, every day? If so, that's what I expected. If not, why not? Because there are players who work and can not play all day, and it would be great if they had the same chance. My suggestion, what I think is correct, would be to enable the daily drops directed at a certain player [According to his performance, if he is playing or stopped in HO, and accumulating perhaps hours played or monsters shot] in the first 5 hours of game played, So the surplus [More than 5 hours played per day] would be of merit to those who play more than 5 hours a day. I work and would like to have the same rare drop chance as anyone who plays all day. Obs: I do not know how the drop system of the game works, maybe the company's policy is to benefit those who play the most. My suggestion given up there may be aimed at an older audience that has to work, but I think it's worth thinking about it. Do not drop an Exalted 2 months ago on Standard and Legacy 2 weeks. " The odds of a particular item dropping is static with the exception of increased item quantity (iiq) and increased item rarity(iir). If two players with the same iiq (iir doesn't work for currency) kill the same monster but one has played for 10 hours that day and the other has played for 1 hour that day they have the same chance to get an exalted orb as a drop. This means that a person who plays 10 hours a day will get more exalts and rare drops over the course of a league than a person who plays just 1 hour a day. Imagine you have a ten thousand sided die and every time you roll a 1 you get a good drop. The person who rolls it for 10 hours will usually roll a 1 more times than a person who only rolls it for 1 hour. Why is this the case? Imagine if after 5 hours they reduced the drop rate for good items. People stop playing after 5 hours each day. If people stop playing as a much they're not as likely to purchase MTX or buy supporter packs. If people stop buying these things GGG runs out of money and the game dies. This doesn't even account for the huge backlash that would occur if GGG implemented a change like this. The people who are paying for this game are often the ones spending the most time playing it. Beyond financial reasons, it's fair for people who put in twice as much work to get twice as many chances at the reward. If someone can't or doesn't want to play as much, then they can't expect to get to the same amount of currency as players who do. Equality of opportunity is fair, equality of outcome is not. |

" As far as I know, it works. The damage of on death effects is calculated while the monster is still considered alive, otherwise no bonus it had on itself would apply to it. " Controlled destruction does seem to work, which means it's all spell damage. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

If I'm not doing any chaos damage, does Void Manipulation help me?

" There's no reason it should. You could be poisoning with other damage types and it would help with poison in that case, but the part where you aren't doing any chaos damage isn't entirely true then. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Taryn's Shiver: "Enemies frozen by you take 20% increased damage".
Will it work if my totems are the ones freezing the enemies? |

Is the 100 fire damage from Eye of Innocence able to be converted to cold damage by Kaltensoul?
scenario ignite target triggering Eye of Innocence for 100 fire damage to self with MoKou's Embrace or being inflicted with flammability will cause chance of self to be ignited both Works but ignite target triggering Eye of Innocence for 100 fire damage to self with Kaltensoul to convert 20% of fire damage to be taken as cold while inflicted by frostbite is expected to cause chance of freeze doesn't work it is said in the wiki that Rat Cage works in converting the 100 fire damage to physical where as triggering Vaal Molten Shell so I assumed it should work in converting to cold damage as well. Not sure if the Rat Cage conversion was proven to work or theory though. Thanks Last edited by sagacite#2912 on Mar 25, 2017, 11:48:25 AM

Ignite has a fixed duration.
Freeze duration is based on Damage dealt relative to the target's Maximum Life. 20 Cold Damage will never Freeze you, the duration is far, far below the minimum 300ms threshold. |

just to confirm but the 100 fire damage from eye of innocence cannot crit?
