Mechanical Questions Thread

The engine cannot account for incompatible weapons at the moment, so yes, it is assuming you can alternate between both weapons.

Will Ice Crash with Physical to Lightning support make all stages of the Ice Crash Attack half cold damage and half lightning damage?

Do modifiers to spell damage apply to Decay (from an essence of Delirium on a weapon) when it's applied via Essence Drain or Vortex?

It's all the same attack that has 50% Phys to Cold and 50% Phys to Lightning, so yes.

Another question that occured to me; does accuracy matter for Ice Crash as it says it hits the ground and not mobs?
Still matters. It's an attack, it rolls accuracy on hit.
if i use the unique belt The retch i got 3 questions ,
1st question if i am vaalpact do i do any dmg to my enemy if i am full hp and leech?
2nd question , isnt the dmg dealt to enemys super low when i got 10k es and only do 8-12k dmg per leech?assuming i only get hit every 3 seconds
3rd when i am duelist -slayer and take the node "leech doesnt stop at full life" and i use vaal pact will i do permanent dmg to my enemy eventhough i am at full hp? assuming the first question is wrong and
does that node work as CI aswell? or only LIFE as it states

Hi, I was directed here by Support via email and was told it's best to ask the actual devs over support for my question.

Recently someone mentioned on Reddit that Divine's Shrine "Cannot Be Damaged" is actually "regen at an incredibly fast rate". Despite having played the game for so long, having experienced a multitude of divine shrines I can't recall a time I've ever actually died even while face tanking potential one shots. However I have no reliable source to pull on nor can I say for sure if that is indeed how it works as my personal experience may be diluted with low-end hits etc and not true one shots. I know full well you can die with a divine shrine as "Cannot Be Damaged" is not "Cannot Die" but it raises the following question.

I was wondering about the exact mechanics behind a Divine Shrine, does it make you completely immune to taking Damage or just essentially gives you massive regeneration that makes it so you are essentially immune to everything but something that exceeds your maximum health pool in a single instance of damage?

Thanks.

Hello! Love PoE and have really been getting into it lately!

I have a question on IIQ and map drops. Does the former increase the quantity of the latter? The wiki seems to say no but I hear lots of conflicting advice from high level players that IIQ does in fact lead to more map drops. I would like to hear a GGG official response on this if possible =D.
