Actually the first and last time i let my emotions mess with my posts was when my account was compromised a while ago, so there is no anger or hate or anything else driving that comment. The analogy is pretty decent, cause there are literally people who just went SC the moment the uber lab was announced. Im not actually bashing on SC but rather on the mentality of that specific wannabe HC population.

I understand the issue, however, I'm thinking it might actually be a good thing. The way I see it, there are two types of hardcore players, those that do it for the dubious kind of prestige it grants, and those that do it for the thrills.
So, if endgame lab eliminates at least some of those that farm dried lake to 85 with 'woot, I'm rocking hardcore' grins on their faces it won't be a big loss. For the other ones, endgame lab will present the ultimate challenge so I don't think many will complain. Unfortunately for many it is not even the right kind of content to exist in PoE. Besides that, your post makes a lot of sense. I dont know which league you guys prefer/play but Prophecy HC feels a lot emptier than Perandus HC was, i strongly believe a huge number of "HC" players indeed migrated on SC this time or stopped playing all together. " Sure, when they first announced the lab I said it's a dangerous move because it doesn't really fit the rest of the game so it's entirely possible a big portion of the community will reject it, hardcore or no. I did post that Nox video in another thread to show there are ARPGs with a big emphasis on traps, but, to be honest about it, it's a whole different beast. We should probably rename ARPGs with respawnable resources into something else. Maybe 'isometric grinder', yeah, sounds good. About the league, I'm probably the third category or 'the merc'. After CB I've played HC a few times in challenge leagues while they were HC-only, and in regular temps only if there was something in it for me, usually to buy HC-specific items so since the league merge I've had little reason to play. However, I was looking to buy the Dervish sword today and judging by their number, HC prophecy has 1/3 of regular prophecy population or something, I agree the ratio was better in the past. So yeah, there's some meat in what I said but it isn't the whole story by a longshot. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

140 life regen on my poor witch and have done about 10 map trials with no problems at all.. if you are scared of them so much, roll a juggernat and you can use enduring cry to get max endu charges from those totems that respawn.. You can then even selfcast immortal call and rush through traps.

" People in my guild wanted to play the SC league instead of the HC league this time around because the issues at the start of perandus with performance and crashing leading to deaths was out of control. If we were playing on HC this league as well, we would be experiencing death from things that should not happen. Like freezing on the screen complete for 10 seconds or so as well as client crashes. In addition to that the leagues are now identical, which means the only true difference in terms of factors of the "game' is the itemization\economy, which GGG pushed in the wrong direction in Perandus after making unique items TOO easy to get and practically worthless. Honestly the buffed drop rates shortly after 2.0 wasn't really needed either, although I guess 4 times 0 is still 0 (he he) The endgame lab is honestly REALLY rewarding and enjoyable. I find the traps to be fairly easy for my build, but the engaging fight mechanics of izaro and allowing him to get buffed is quite fun.
