Elementalist Question: Do Mastermind of Discord + Pendulum of Destruction affect minions?

Necromancer was definitely the only option prior to 2.3, but Elementalist sounds sweet with 4 Golems...it's effectively a 1.33 multiplier. I lose out on quite a bit of minion damage, but that can be supplemented elsewhere I believe. Elementalist also gives me the option of doing some of my own damage. For example, I might have enough damage to shock mobs and proliferate it.
