Well, then step out of the fancy green circle around him when it appears. It's like an aura around him. You can't oversee it if you keep watching what he's doing.

The third and final mechanic will always add two different Labyrinth traps (plus sentinel traps in Endgame Labyrinth) to the room the encounter takes place in. On Cruel and higher difficulties, Izaro's Goddess of Justice can use Teleport, casting a green circle around Izaro, which teleports the player after a delay into a trap-filled area.

sometimes it looks like i cant leech from izaro and it kills me. :(

I haven't found a way to do that without ruining the build. Heretic's Veil, -reservation nodes, etc was all considered and didn't work. If you have any new ideas (after reading thru the whole thread) involving something new that I might have missed in 2.3-2.4 feel free to propose them.

Are there alternatives for the black suns crest? Kinda feels very cramped/low flexibility to get the most out of the build.

A rare hubris circlet has always been an alternative to Black Sun. You lose some DPS but gain some ES and resists. And you lose the flexibility when it comes to helmet enchantments. It has been an inferior option so far, but I'm not sure about the Essence league. The crafting options in this league... 58 Int hmm... I haven't tried that myself and can't say how good it can be. Plus it's only an option in this one league.

You don't need to aim for the very best items. Ignore the unreasonably overpriced stuff too. And you may need to catch the seller when they are online.

Example: gloves MUCH better than yours
You can modify this search to lower standards and find cheaper upgrades faster too.

Great gloves for your level. But the helmet you are doing wrong: INT should be the first priority, not ES. You can find a 30 Int helmet with lower ES for 1 alc which would be better than that one. But this is fine too, you don't need to optimize that much for just a few hours of play until you are done with the storyline leveling.

And yes, 5L curse is totally not needed for leveling. CWDT - IC - Enfeeble is more than enough.

It would if we were using cold damage. And only against targets not immune to chill. Also, all gems we use in the staff are better than Hypothermia.

I did Uber Lab today just fine. The only reason I can think of for not being able to damage Izaro is if you are not using resist penetration at all (his buffs can give him close to 100% fire resist and some regen). Check that you are using the FP gem and pop Orb of Storms to trigger +25% penetration from Mastermind.

Since you are going with the Crystal Belt option, you can EASILY craft one in the Essence league: buy an ilvl 84 base, scour it if it's not white, then trans/aug/alt it until you get a good +ES prefix and a high resist suffix. Then regal it and see if it rolls 2nd resist mod. If not - scour and go again. Then craft the 3rd resist on it (Tora).

3. Black Sun Crest. Or at least a better rare helmet with more Int and resists.

4. Your gloves may be better off with a 2nd resist crafted mod instead of 62% ES.

5. Divine that Astramentis. It can only get better. Or MUCH better.

6. Blessed that Pyre. With how cheap Blessed orbs are, no reason not to get 6% better cold res.

Since i want to push this char to at least lvl 95, i was wondering if it would make sense to get Avatar of Fire and the ctf gem, so i can use a second Perandus Signet Ring, which would push my INT to over 2000. Capping res will be an issue i guess, but managable with jewels.

Do you think it would be worth the damage loss from the jewels to get res on them?

This build started off as AoF+CtF like the Scion version, but switching to Pyre+CD+2 skill points resulted in a decent upgrade in DPS with almost the same ES. I tried both versions on both of my chars (Witch and Scion), and for the Witch this version (Pyre) was better both with the Prophecy league gear and with my godly Standard gear, while for the Scion the AoF/CtF version with double legacy Perandus remained better. The extra Int that Scion gets from her Ascendancy makes the difference, plus 1 more jewel socket.

That can happen when he reaches his hp threshold, announces that 'You were born for this' or w/e he says in the 2nd trial, becomes immune to damage/leech BUT THEN still performs 1-2 more attacks. There have been countless complaints about this behaviour ever since the Lab was released but GGG doesn't seem to give a shit.

Make sure you can hear Izaro speaking (Sound options), watch his hp, and start dodging the moment you see that you won the trial. Popping a Quicksilver flask and running around the room works fine. Or, if there are adds in the room, start casting on them instead of Izaro.

I spend like what...40 chaos ? (maybe a little more) to buy deafening essence of spite but i could not roll a single good Vaal Regalia....

I'm stuck in this « grey area » and i can't do much about it, everything i've tried failed....

Don't waste currency trying to craft a good chest yourself (unless 100c is pocket change for you). Essence crafting is better than regular chaosing (you are guaranteed one 'T0' suffix) but it's 4-5 times more expensive. The chance of getting a great result is still very small.

Farm Uber Lab for currency/maps/gems/frags/uniques. Then buy gear upgrades. This build can do Uber Izaro with max buffs (i.e. max keys) on any day (or most days if you are not geared to take 7.5k hits yet).

Or just make a cheap lab farmer char such as the Marohi EQ build recommended by ZiggyD and use it as your source of income to gear up your main char.
