The leech mechanic in 2.0 has no bearing on this build since we use Vaal Pact. If you are not leeching enough ES... are you forgetting to use WM+Blasphemy? Or trying to off-screen and range kill everything?

I just hit level 40 HC and the leech seems pretty good for me, even when im doing a boss solo I can literally stand there and face tank and my ES doesnt move.

This has been a super fun build, it was a little rough leveling to 33 but now its a blast.


Im still a little nervous playing HC and going CI this early, every other CI build seems to transfer into CI at level 65+.

Hi,

how is the curse setup working for all of you. I cannot curse with ball lightning-coh-cwdt. The wiki says: "A single attack skill cannot be supported by multiple trigger support gems or item".

I personally skilled the second curse now and have the same setup like you, but i still can't curse via cwdt.

Would be awesome to get some ideas.

Edit: I found out that i have to level the curse higher so that cwdt cannot trigger it.

Lvl 66, it's good, fast, but very risky, 2500 ES is nothing at maps.
Yellow 8-mods Tier 1 is insanely hard.

I transfered to CI at Act 2 merc, earlier it was stupid cause no life flasks = lot of deaths.

Twinned Rigwald

Rigwald was the boss of the Talisman league which I didn't play in. Now he is the new boss of the Dark Forest map that got moved to T15. He seems to do purely physical damage and may cause bleeding in the wolf form. Basalt flask of Staunching is good, maybe more than 1. And he can teleport away. He also spawns some kinda adds. Looked easy unless you try it with Vulnerability.

8k ES is enough for everything (except maybe the new endgame). I had 8.5k ES by the end of the Prophecy league. 10k+ ES is possible with some great gear in Standard, but you probably won't get that in a temp league unless you are rich. Nor do you need it. You only need as much ES as you can lose in 1-2 sec before you leech it all back. Both ES and DPS scale with Int, so get more Int on gear, and you get more Int by leveling up too.

Tier 16, here we come! No problem whatsoever for this build, even with +80% fire res, even with a noob mistake at the end. First try, rare/corrupted.

One down, three to go...

just got to lvl 62 and the build is finally starting to build up momentum, 850 ish int at the moment and 3.2k ES.
still need the astramantis badly though.

Anyway tried going for CI at lvl 33, i personaly do not recommend it, there are too many situations in this league where you will not be able to outleach early on with non twink gear, especially those essence packs. I suggest going hybrid for some time, you should probably only make the switch around lvl 50/60.

also for those who are struggling, do remember that even as CI flasks are extremely important, don't forget your granite flasks, and i highly recommend the smoke cloud flask as well. it fits perfectly with our playstyle as we want to be right in the middle of things.

Started league with this build got lucky early on got 6soc and decent 5l with astrament necky, 5k es at lvl 77 is not that bad, i hope ill increase it by few K anytime soon. Great build tho, normal atziri deathless at 74. I'll try uber lab today for fun :D
P.S im wondering about Auxium belt, is it must ? Or chill/froze flask will do? Or does that belt helps that much vs chill/freeze ? I think i dont understand how does it work :)
