And how are you going to deal with stat requirements then?
You have no dex on tree (fertile mind conversion) and no str (brute force conversion).
Need 555str for the staff, str for fire pen, life leech, cwdt, ic, flame golem, dex for temp chains - 3 points aint worth it (assume that you still lack on res with that much uniques, so you won't skip diamond skin).

So, I dropped a Whispering Ice on day 2 of Breach. So I decided to reroll. I'm not one to copy paste builds. But, I also wanted to get up and running as quickly as possible to map for gear for other characters. i'm an altoholic, Progression, finding upgrades, and coming up with new and interesting builds are my favorite parts of the game. Since identifying an upgrade is high on my list I also am not much for trading. SO I went scouring for a cheap build that I could probably do without to much trading.

I found this and can I say I love this build!!! It starts out pretty slow with no leveling gear. But so do most builds. But, it didn't take long before I was facerolling everything with a single purchase. The only thing I bought was a pyre. Everything else is MF'd personally.

I don't have the unique jewels or and astramentis. But I found a fairly good Rare AMY to sub in for it and, since I don't have the brute forces, strength isn't an issue. Yah I take a hit on int but up to T4 maps my dmg is plenty good enough for now. I'm walking around low maps with low res, no AA, and only 3k ES and just wrecking. Breaches aren't an issue, Bosses aren't an issue. Yes, it takes a little more finesse to play this way but I don't feel gimed in any way (at the moment).

I understand that this wont last. But Like I said, the goal of this build was to MF for other chars. I want to say thanks to OP for this great leg up in the new league!!

int is our mainstat and gives us both defense and dps. most of the nodes on the way to unwavering stance can be converted to int and are thus not wasted. so effectively, only 5 of the 17 nodes to US are not pushing our damage.

so going for US + astramentis provides us with stun immunity, tons of int and covers all the str and dex requirements. if you want to use chayula, you lose some 200ish int and need to find a different way to deal with the str and dex reqs. I dont think 17 passive points will allow you to do that and also make up for 200 int.

That jewel is only given to the top lab runner of the day.

When do you think it's time to stop using Icetomb? I have now 61 lvl, feel I need something better with atleast 450es and double resists for merci, is it okay? Or I should wait for lvl 70 and buy something ''more futuristic'';p I almost didnt have any decent drops and my currency is only 15c, still without Astramentis

What is the clear speed of this build like? It's not SUPER important to me unless I'm playing with my friends, but leaping into a pack and taking what seems like several seconds (because of spell echo) just to cast 1 ice storm makes it feel like forever.

This is of course my level 49 self talking, but I have all items needed and I'm fully running CI.

Does it get faster?

yup, which is total bullshit tbh. I bought mine from that guy who's monopolizing them for 4ex about 4 days into the league. figured it would be cheaper that way than to buy the jewel for 8ex 12 days into the league. (he adjusts his prices for inflation as the league goes on.)
