How to fix clear speed meta ?

Reduce all cast and attack speed by 25%.
Reduce DoT by 25% but increase duration by 25%. Add diminishing returns to movement speed bonuses. Reduce pack size by 25% but increase health and xp reward by 25%. There. That should cover everything. Slow game is slow. Bonus: Add more "look before engaging or die" mob modifiers. "Into the Labyrinth!

" Action is coming from killing monsters and getting rewards not just running through content (WB meta) Pyrokar How? I would also make magic/rare/uniq bosses tougher (it should take more time to kill them) but they should be also more rewarding (in exp, items, maps) So you can still speed map and skip them but without rewards. Mythabril That´s possible too but before boosting monster´s life you need to fix broken things. The main problem is damage output with speedrun which trivilise the content. Well action movies are different, same as games. I like The predator as action movie. You could accept it´s full of action but on the other hand heroes need to stop sometimes, think about next progress, silent action etc...

" Fast clear speed is fine and should stay. What this game needs is more rewarding map system. Map mods should be reworked and reward players with more loot/map drops the harder map mods are. It s easy to just roll pack size on a map without any dangerous map mods which makes clearing a map very fast paced with no risky content where you actually have to kite/dodge mobs and apply brain |

Clear speed meta is created due to bad balancing of the game.
If balance would be well made then player would need to pick (in example) 2 things from the list: -high damage -high survibality -high AOE -high mobility -high utility/CC -insert other So you either: Have high damage and high AOE but you move slow and die fast so need to be carefull the same play slower. OR Have high survibality and mobility, but you aoe and damage is crap thus you clear slower but safe. OR You have high damage and utility thus you are safe if you play tacticaly, but still your moblity and aoe is crap with slow you down. Stating simply, the current balance of the game is soooooooo poor that you can have all of those stats above with good gear and proper build abusing. How to say, look at the patch notes change to skill tree. "1% attack speed per 100 accuracy changes to 1% per 200 accuracy" What does it say? That GGG in balance terms is off in calculations by even up to 100% of the value. You can just imagine whats the real value for some builds, and those builds are usualy meta, because people abuse systems that have flaws for their own gain.
