(2.3) HUMMINGBIRD BUILD +1400% attack speed (nerfed before release) Hummingbird sill 1000% +
7x attack speed is still pretty baller though.
I'm going to roll with it and see where it goes in live. It's still looking pretty good, though it probably won't be as meta breaking as vaal spark was. |

" yea nothing will beat vaal spark in last 2week flashback event got berserker and deadeye vaal sparkers both made full dried lake clear in 15-30sec (sometimes few hidden mobs survived but can count it like "cleared") gained over 5000 chaos in 2-3 days with it,only used XYZ for selling items like bino or mjoner... 15-30 sec = beep (currency drop),beep (unique) ,over and over :D Last edited by TheSaddestSong#5666 on Jun 2, 2016, 3:07:26 AM

could this work for elemental spectral throw build?
|
|
" Sure, but spectral throw = no multistrike and have to use gmp/lmp,so no crazy attack speed but even with 50% less attack speed spam of flying weapons should be really fun, this should be fastest spectral throw build,if You love attack speed like most of us,try it :) You can also add knockback passives, with so high attack speed all should be gangbanged Last edited by TheSaddestSong#5666 on Jun 2, 2016, 8:09:20 AM

So is it worth trying out still even though we can only get 7x attack speed? Or can we get more attack speed from investing in IAS nodes instead? Not sure how the math works
|
|
" Definitely still worth, but sometimes is better to get for example 3%ias and 6% nodes for cost of 2 passives than getting 12% psych dmg and 18% accuracy nodes if we have ELE build now they are better if You wont have really high base accuracy near to perfect we should also think more about getting FRENZY CHARGES if we have method to gain them one suffix per 6-7 items is not big cost but attack speed is boosted for example if i had 400% attack speed from ACCURACY before NERF,now i will have 200%,it is really nice boost (equal to almost 67 x standard +3% ias nodes) for NO CRIT SWORD builds accuracy is still perfect source of attack speed, for other weapons also if we build character around attack speed over other stats ACCURACY on nice rares with high HP/evasion still can boost ias% a lot,we arent forced to use uniques like Rat's Nest,Starkonja's Head,Devoto's Devotion ... many of them dont have most important HP,rares can have really high defensive stats and accuracy/dex,they will also give us attack speed :) we can make really fast Juggernaut with very high ARMOUR,EVASION,even with acrobatics and dodge over 60 % (we can bypass 50% less armour,of course we will have a lot less armour but triple defence is really strong ! especially when ENDURANCE CHARGES protect us :) Accuracy GEM with +%accuracy nodes is still best method to boost movement skills after Faster Attacks gem Last edited by TheSaddestSong#5666 on Jun 2, 2016, 4:52:05 PM

" I see, I'm doing non crit physical damage build so I'll stick to accuracy then :) Thanks for all the information and your time :) |
|
:D forgot about one important thing = we are not forced to use RT,we still can but better to get other nodes and if we want focus on other side of the tree nothing will stop us :)

I'm curious, what about using Poachers Mark + Blasphemy and linking a Life Gain on Hit Gem to Molten Strike by replacing LMP? Reason being, Shavronne in particular would insta-rip this build if you accidentally attack her with thorns up since your life leech wouldn't keep up with the damage being done to yourself as a result of your own attacks/second. It would also provide a significant survivability boost due to the fact that LGoH is instant as opposed to life leech which is over time thus allowing you to facetank a lot more effectively.
Poachers mark also has the benefit of resolving mana issues since it also lets you gain mana on hit (You can spec out of BM), refills flasks (Onslaught flasks, Basalt flasks, etc.) and also generates frenzy charges (the way i built my tree, i can reach 5 frenzy charges) for the 20% attack speed and damage multiplier. Ancestral protector is also an additional 20% more multiplier on top of the already insane attack speed and would probably be used exclusively for boss fights. Overall, really enjoy the guide and looks like i found what i'll be playing as my league starter! :) |

Two more questions for you, TheSaddestSong...
1. Which of the three example builds do you like the most? 2. Is there a way to make a "Southpaw" build to exploit the dual wield attack speed bonus but keep one of the weapons inactive? Or is that not effective here? |
